The Fey
"Come with me! Come with me, my love" she called
I was a moth drawn to her flame, for all the times I had used my own voice to manipulate others, I was powerless in the grip of that sweet sound.
"Come into the forest with me, come with me, dance with me in the bonfire's light, come, onward, onward!"
She cried again, gaily, smiling in the waning moonlight as she took me by the hand and pull me gently forward, out of the circle of milky moonlight and into the verdant, lush forest. The fire's light was a blur, the other dancers caught in similar unholy trance but shadows, all there could be was her, twirling just ahead, almost in reach, now taking my hand and spinning under it, now leading me onward, suddenly the fire was behind me and she drew me onward, into her bower.
"We shall be together forever my darling. You shall never need to go into the world from whence you came again"
She whispered and gently drew me down, brushing her rose-petal lips against me pulse which leapt and stilled under her gently insisting command.
"Welcome to the land of the fey folk, my darling. You shall live forever. With me."
She was saying something else, I have no idea what, but it was beautiful and in no language that I had ever heard, but as she spoke she kept going, gently unfastening my shirt and sliding it down my shoulders. I felt myself shudder under the pleasure of her gentle caress, still not daring to touch her.
"Nothing from the old world may remain."
And I felt her hands on my shoes, socks, trousers, and then… my mask.
"Please don't" I begged.
"Nothing from the old world may remain"
She repeated, slipping my mask of and gently kissing my bare face. I started to grasp at her garment, no more than an ephemeral wisp of silk and flowers and faire magic. She was soon divested of it and I touched her, gently, timidly, secretly terrified of being swatted away once again. Instead she placed her hand over mine, increasing my grip, and kissed me again
"Welcome to the land of eternal pleasure, my love…"
