Phoenix: Just a little one-shot about Freddy giving Nancy a...birthday present.

Skye: It's funny but a bit sadistic as well.

Nancy opened her eyes then jumped to her feet. What time is it? What time is it! She looked at the clock. It had stopped working.

"No! I'm gonna be late for my date!"

She ran into the kitchen and wrenched the clock off the wall. She whacked it over and over.

"Damn the clock!"

"Someone's bleeding."

Nancy wheeled around and nearly gasped when she saw Freddy Krueger standing there, leaning agianst the wall, fiddling with something big in his hands.

"Krueger, damn you, not now! It's my birthday and I have a date! Come back later on!"

"Nancy, it's been years, I would've thought that you'd give me a warmer welcome," he said. "And anyway, you don't need to worry about the date."

He threw the thing in his hands at her. She caught it a noticed blood spraying on her white blouse.

"Happy birthday Nancy!"

Freddy laughed uncontrollably as Nancy screamed and threw the severed head of her new boyfriend to the floor. He started to walk towards her.

"Come on Nancy, no comments on the present? Nothing at all? Pity."

He brought his hand down to stab her but she ducked under his arm and ended up behind him.

"You bastard."

Her tone was low, dangerous. Freddy's eyes widened.

"You killed my date!"

She punched him in the back and he fell on his face.

"You sick fuck, you ruined my birthday and killed my date! Who does that?" she asked, positively fuming.

Nancy picked up a glass vase from the shelf and smashed it over his head. He yelped but stood back up.

"What's the matter, Nancy? Am I not good enough for ya?" he laughed, sounding crazy.

He held up his arms and walked towards her.
"Don't touch me!"

She kicked him. No more babies for you Freddy. He made a high-pitched noise, taking in breath sharply.

"That's hitting it a little below the belt, isn't it?"

His voice was strained but he smiled at his own little pun nonetheless. Nancy shrieked in anger and punched him on the chin. His head shot upwards and she saw a little blood coming away from his mouth as he fell to the ground. She gave a satisfied smirk.

"What the hell?" Freddy screamed, jumping to his feet.

"You bastard!"

She grabbed a knife from the drawer and threw it at him. He automatically dodged.

"You crazy bitch!"

He turned and ran but Nancy tripped him up.

"You don't-kill-my-date! Don't-ruin-my-birthday!"

She punctuated every word with a punch or kick, making the last the hardest.

There's something wrong with you! Freddy thought, grabbing her ankle and twisting it around. She fell.

Nancy yelped and Freddy jumped onto her, raising his right hand, the blades clinking together. He shoved his hand down and missed her face by millimetres, clipping her hair and slicing her cheek.

"Stuck now, aren't ya darling?" Freddy mocked, leaning in.

Nancy crossed her ams tightly.

"I hate you," she said, sounding very much like a stroppy teenager.

She threw her head forwards and grunted when it made contact with Freddy's nose. Blood ran down his face as he clutched his nose. Nancy rolled over and succeeded in getting to her feet. She kicked him a few times and eventually he lay on his back, arms spread.

"That's for ruining my birthday AND killing my boyfriend...again," she spat, fading into nothing as she woke up.

Freddy's expression chnaged from one of confusion and shock to one of annoyance. He rolled his eyes.

"Women."
