Lex Meets Oliver Again
POV Lex
Oliver walks into Lex's office. Lex twirls around his chair to face Oliver. "Hello, Queen," Lex says, smugly. "Lex, how are you still alive?" Oliver asks astonished. "Become I'm Lex Luthor," Lex answers arrogantly, "And now I've come back to retake what is mine. Fortunately for me Tess took the liberty to merge our two companies together."
"Well Tess will not let you do this," Oliver retorts. Lex laughs, shocking Oliver. "You killed her didn't you?" Oliver asked. "Of course I did, she served as a threat," Lex said. Lex didn't know why though, he just knew that he had a good reason to.
"So are you going to kill me?" Oliver asks. "No, I want you to watch as everything that belongs to you disappears," Lex answers. "What makes you so sure that will happen?" Oliver demands. "It already has. Why do you think I'm here right now? The board was more than happy for my return," Lex laughs and stands up, "The prodigal son has returned," Lex shouts, raising his arms up, and laughing.
Lex puts his arms down and sits down, "Now are you going to leave willingly or will I have to call security?" "Don't worry, I'm going," Oliver says before turning to leave.
POV Oliver
Oliver returns to Watchtower. Chloe runs to greet him. "Chloe, I just found out that Lex is still alive," Oliver says. Chloe looks at him, shocked, "I don't believe it." "It's not just that, he's also repossessed Luthorcorp and he…" "He what?" Chloe asks. "…he killed Tess," Oliver says, trying not to cry.
Chloe puts her arm onto Oliver's shoulder. "We need to warn Clark," Chloe says. "I know and we need to leave back to Star city, it's no longer safe here," Oliver says. Chloe nods before going off to warn Clark.
Chloe returns several minutes later. "Well?" Oliver asks. "He already knew," Chloe says. "What? How?" Oliver asks. "Lex met with him at the Luthor mansion before he went off to fight Darksied," Chloe says. "What did Lex tell him?" Oliver asks. "That he will become Clark's greatest opponent," Chloe answers.
"My God, why didn't Clark tell us?" Oliver asks, angry. "I don't think that it was intentional. Clark has a lot going on right now, you know?" Chloe says.
Oliver nods, before saying, "Well it's time we started packing." "Before we do that, there's something I wanted to talk to you about before you brought up Lex," Chloe says. "What?" Chloe clears her throat, before answering, "I'm pregnant…"
POV Lex
Lex stares out the window of his office, looking at Metropolis. This city is mine, now. Lex thinks to himself. In this city the strong control everything and the weak serve the strong. And in this city, nobody is stronger than I. Lex then smirks.
