Much Ado about Wallpaper
Tezuka Kunimitsu/ Fuji Syuusuke - wallpaper
(1/1)
Tezuka was not really concerned when Fuji had met him by his shoebox at the end of classes so that they could walk together to the bus stop. He was a little concerned when the bus that they usually took to get home came, stopped, and then passed… without them on it.
"Where are we going?" He asked at this point, only to have his friend say nothing at all. The usual grin was in place and, not for the first time, the buchou wished that he knew what was going on inside Fuji's head.
"I want to show you something," the tensai finally answered once they were on the bus that would take them down to the shopping district. Tezuka was wise enough to know not to waste his breath asking further questions; his friend was in a weird mood today.
Most of the time, Tezuka was satisfied knowing or not knowing what Fuji was thinking. However, when it concerned himself, that was when Tezuka wished he wasn't able to decipher his friend's smiles; the fellow senior definitely was up to something… which usually meant an unpleasant experience for him.
So, when Fuji came to a stop in front of an interior decorating shop, he had to quirk an eyebrow questioningly. "I thought that you just remodeled your room?"
Fuji merely nodded, spread his grin a little wider, and linked his arm though his buchou's. "I did."
Now Tezuka was more than a little concerned. A secretive Fuji was not a side of his friend that he was comfortable around; he was usually able to at least hazard a guess at what his good friend was thinking, even with his eyes shut. It was the tensai's facial expression, or lack thereof, that gave him away usually… depending on the degree of the sincerity of his ever present grin.
His first thought was to extract himself from Fuji's grasp, but he did not even have a chance to act upon said thought before the shorter boy had gripped his arm tighter and was dragging him towards the door.
"Fuji…" He said warningly.
"Don't worry, Tezuka," Fuji opened his eyes to look at his friend. His lips twisted into a rather disturbing grin and he patted the buchou's arm reassuringly, "When I was in here the last time, I thought it would be fun to pick out some wallpaper for our future home."
