After Eden, Train, Sven and Eve return to Sweeping. But as times get tough, the trio are forced to hunt bigger prey. Little do they know that this man is another Mason, intent on being King of the world, and will stop for nothing and no one to do so.

Background

After the battle in Eden, Train, Sven, and Eve have returned to their normal sweeping life. The Sweepers' Alliance has disbanded, though some of the members still keep in touch. The remaining Chronos Numbers have chosen to live a regular life, similar to the sweepers, but choosing their own targets and price. They still meet bi-annually to discuss the state of the world and receive lists of criminals from their leader, Sephiria Arks, the ex-Chronos Number I.

However, as time goes by, Train, Sven, and Eve fall deeper into their ever-increasing debt, (mainly caused by damage bills and Train's appetite) and are forced to search for the rare and ever disappearing large bounty criminals. Finally, unable to continue this lifestyle, and desperate for money (Sven and Eve) and food, (Train) the threesome head to the nearest sweepers' bar.....

Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, an orange-haired teen was sparring with a red-haired man, while a raven-haired, violet-eyed girl watched her two best friends train for the upcoming war with Aizen.....
