The lights from Jimmy's recharge station lit up his lab as his power bar reached its full capacity and Jimmy awoke feeling energised and ready to start a new day, unfortunately for him it was 5am and all the other bats were still asleep. Because he didn't want to risk waking them up by starting up the battle tram to continue their road trip to the next venue Jimmy decided that this would be an adequate time to work on some experiments, he put on his lab coat and safety goggles (he knew he didn't need them because he was a robot, but he liked them because the Commander said they made him look more human) and began to work on some of his detachable hands, tweaking and fine tuning the lasers and adding a few custom weapons that may come in "handy" (please excuse the pun) in future battles.
Jimmy's internal clock read that it was now 6.37am and Jimmy knew that the rest of the bats would be waking up shortly, he knew the routine, Ricky would be first up and straight to the gym located in the far end of the battle tram, next would be Bones and Crash at around the same time give or take 5-10 minutes, both of them sluggish and looking for breakfast, Jimmy decided he would make them all pancakes with chocolate syrup this morning, and of course yoghurt with blueberries for Ricky. And last up of course would be the Commander staggering to the breakfast table eyes still half closed and moustache smudged.
It was then that Jimmy heard a noise, it was muffled by the walls of his lab but when he opened the door he heard it was water running, someone was up and showering. He went to check the bedroom to see who was up, to his surprise the only bed that was empty was the Commander's. Jimmy was surprised the Commander had woken so early, he thought he better get started on those pancakes. But as he walked past the bathroom he heard the Commander humming the tune of "the legend is true" which then turned into full on singing.
Jimmy smiled, he loved it when the Commander sang, as long as he was happy then Jimmy was happy. His thoughts were broken by the chorus "AND THERE ACROSS THE SKY, I CAN SEE WHAT MAKES THE LEGEND, THE LEGEND IS TRUE AND ITS YOU, YEAH!" Jimmy smiled and chuckled then he continued on to the kitchen to make breakfast.
In the bathroom MCBC was admiring his rad singing voice and (in his mind) super hot reflection in the mirror. He was really getting into the song but thought the bathroom may not be the most appropriate place for a backflip, just as he got halfway through the chorus he heard a quiet chuckle coming from just outside the door, it was Jimmy's laugh and MC knew that he was listening, MC continued singing and finished up his shower, he knew Jimmy would be making something yummy for breakfast and today he was going to be the first one to the table.
