A small sasusaku because I had the need to write these two. This is such a painful ship to be shipping
Slender fingers placed gently on his calloused ones. With steady steps, she was lead inside the empty house by her fiancee. Her heels tapped gently on the wood panels as she continued to walk slowly.
"Where are we, Sasuke-kun..?" She asked in a quiet tone, almost like a whisper. But the two were alone so she was audible.
"Our new house." The Uchiha said with a loud sigh, his hand never left hers. Gently, he lead her to the middle of the un-furnished living room.
The house was a bit pricey, but it was certainly worth it. Cream coloured wallpaper to the wood panelled floors. Three bedroom, two bathroom. It was certainly spacious for the soon-to-be husband and wife, but it's for their future children.
And their children deserves best.
Or so that's what he always say.
"Really?" Now, a smile slipped on her features. The light shining from the window attached itself on her pink-hued hair. "Can you describe it for me?"
He gulped. "It's..." His charcoal eyes looked around the place. "Big.. and it..." Sasuke looked backed at her, gently caressing the roseate's cheeks. "...Feels like home."
First, she looked surprised at his answer then nodded slowly. "Really...?"
He almost felt guilty. It was his fault she was in this condition, his fault that his beloved kunoichi was blind.
Every nightmare he gets, he sees her.
Her with the cut lip and the bruised body, in the battlefield.
Her giving her own eyes to him since he had damaged his since he used Amaterasu too much and now had to suffer the consequences.
Her sobbing a small 'I love you' as she let Ino transfer her green orbs for his benefit.
Now, she wears synthetic ones made especially for her. Though her vision is very blurry now and even with the help of glasses, you can hardly see anything, she decided it was better than nothing.
"It smells like home..." Sakura said with a small whisper as she leaned against him.
Sasuke nodded and placed a small kiss on her forehead. Annoying. She was the only one who could make him feel so guilty.
