She awoke. She looked around at her surroundings.

She stood on the gazebo in the ancient city. The place where she had to come stop--

It all came back to her. Sephiroth. Cloud. Jenova.

Her death...

Off to her left, she glanced movement. She stepped down off of the gazebo to get a closer look.

Her friends were gathered around, watching the water. All except Cloud.

Oh, there he is. He's standing in the lake. Why's he standing there?

Then she saw why. She saw him carrying her body.

He lovingly touched her cheek. A tear rolled down his own. He whispered to her, but she couldn't hear him.

He set her down in the water, mouthed a goodbye, and let her go.

Her hair spread as her body began to sink into the depths...

And then it was dark. She became afraid.

Where is everybody? Cloud's gone!

She turned, looked all around her.

And she saw him.

Cloud!

No, wait, that's not Cloud...

Zack...

The Gonganan warrior stepped toward her, and she was not afraid. She smiled at him.

He held his hand out to her, and she took it.

They would wait for their friends together.

And they wouldn't be afraid anymore.
