His mother and Hokage's wife were not going to get their way, she was his.
She noticed that her oldest son had become obsessed with the tiny Hyuga heiress at their first encounter and couldn't help but sigh. She had hoped it was just a phase otherwise it would cause trouble for the village; she thought that her youngest would have taken to the little Hyuga instead.
She wanted the little Hyuga to be part of her family but she had already thought of the perfect person for her eldest, well at least that's what she thought. The Hokage's red headed wife thought that the little Hyuga belonged with her blond son, the two women often argued on this subject…later their husbands had to pull-literally-apart from their disagreement.
Their husbands never knew what they were arguing about but they knew had to do with clan matters, the three males remained quiet on this subject and dodged related questions from others. They all knew that the Uchiha leader's wife was planning something; they kept quiet about this too.
She made sure to invite her two best friends and their sweet families for many reasons; she was so caught up in her plans to get her youngest son with the Hyuga heiress that she missed the look her eldest son gave her. He knew that his mother had forgotten about his crush on the little Hyuga and smirked.
The red head smirked smugly when she saw her blond son run up to the little Hyuga heiress with a small weed-weed! A freaking weed! She chased after him with an angry frown making sure she had an actually flower in her hand when she ran passed the Uchiha flower garden.
The female Uchiha smirked with delight; she had been the one to give the weed to the boy saying that girls loved weeds. Now, her young little son-her Kekkei Genkai automatically activated when she saw her youngest son being chased around by two small girls and she stomped toward.
Uchiha heir of thirteen leaped to the ground where his mother had been standing a few moments ago with a smug smirk plastered on his lips. Yes, he would even go against his loving mother to make sure the little Hyuga became his in the future.
He walked up to the little heiress with a small box containing two cinnamon buns with one thought in his head.
Ha! In your face mother, she is mine!
I'm pretty sure Itachi would do this just to get his way even if he is very selfless.
