Digimon Wolfblood.
A random idea I had, what if Shannon's "beast on the moors" was really four Digimon, instead of Maddy and Rhydian.
Prologue:
The young, teenage girl raced through the woods, camera in hand. Shannon Kelly , tripping on a fallen branch, screamed in pain.
"No, I must find the beast!" she argued as she dragged herself through the leaves, cursing as she cut her hand on a thorn, blood slowly seeped from the wound.
She pulled out her mobile phone, using her good hand. She scrolled through her contacts until she found the person she was looking for, Rhydian Morris.
She impatiently waited as the phone made the monotonous sounds that indicated an incoming call.
She sighed with relief when the phone was picked up.
"Hello?" asked the voice on the other line, Shannon recognised it as the voice of one of her best friends, Rhydian.
"Rhydian!" she replied, "It's Shannon, I need your help. Listen closely, I'm in the woods, follow the scent of my blood and meet me here."
"What, blood?" asked Rhydian, he sounded shocked.
"I tripped and I can't walk, just transform and meet me in the woods, I can ell that the beast is here, I can feel it!" replied Shannon with a gleam in her eyes.
"Why didn't you call Maddy or Tom? They both live closer to the woods than me." He complained, Shannon could hear him throwing some food in the bin.
"Tom's in Manchester with his dad and Maddy's got detention. Hurry!" explained Shannon, she waited for a reply but when she heard the howling of the wolf she hung up.
A few seconds later a large, grey wolf appeared by her side, "Rhydian, your here!" she said as she wrapped her good arm around his neck, he transformed in a smiling, blonde haired, Wolfblood.
"Here, I'll help you up." He said as he picked her up and carried her further into the woods.
"How far do you think the beast is?" he asked as rested Shannon down onto a bed of leaves.
A branch snapped behind them.
"I'd say, right here!" yelled Shannon as she looked at the eight glowing eyes, surrounding the friends.
