Forever

Nadeshiko held the baby girl in her hands. Touya was sat on Fujitaka's knee.

"Sakura, Sakura Kinomoto" Nadeshiko smiled.

"Perfect" Fujitaka laughed. Touya looked down on his baby sister and smiled.

"Touya, you have a very important job to do" Fujitaka smiled, "You must help look after Sakura and protect her."

Nadeshiko smiled, " Do you promise to help look after her?"

Touya beamed at his parents and nodded.

"Can I hold her?" He asked, still looking at Sakura. Nadeshiko nodded and gently handed Sakura over to Touya. Touya's smile widened. Sakura opened her eyes and blinked into Touya's face. He was the first person she ever saw. Fujitaka gently removed Sakura from Touya's arms.

Touya smiled as he looked at Sakura and remembered this memory.

"Do you promise to protect her?" His mother's words echoed in his mind.

"Forever" He smiled

"Forever what, Oniichan?" Sakura asked looking puzzled. Touya blinked and looked at Sakura and blushed.

"Er…nothing" Touya blushed even more.

"Oniichan, why are you blushing?" Sakura asked, looking even more puzzled. Touya looked to Yukito for help, he was just smiling.

"Er…er, I'm not, what do you want?" Touya said shaking his head.

"Oh, me and Tomoyo want drinks" Sakura smiled.

"Sure, I'll bring them" Yukito smiled. Touya and Yukito got up to get drinks.

"You were blushing you know, Touya" Yukito laughed, "Have you ever heard of a thing called a Sister Complex."

"Shaddap" Touya blushed. Yukito left with the drinks.

Touya smiled. Something moved in the corner of his eye. He turned to find Nadeshiko. Her spirit was floating by the kitchen table.

"Keep up the good work, Touya. I'm very proud of you. I'm proud of your father and what Sakura has become. I love you all, always."

Nadeshiko disappeared. Touya smiled. He glanced out the window at Sakura, Yukito and Tomoyo and then at the blue sky.

"I will protect her…forever."
