A/N: My My! Inspiration does strike at the most random of times. This was originally going to be the beginning of another story before I read it and realized it was basically the intro for "Turn Left."

Disclaimer: Don't own...though I wouldn't mind having Catherine Tate for the evening. :)

It looked a bit like that bazaar they'd been to only two weeks before, only more foreign...and it smelled a bit like festering piss and animal intestines. It was crammed with vendors of all colors and species, hawking their wares to whatever tourist was dumb enough to pause too long at one station. Animals bleated, neighed, whinnied and screamed from all direction, mixing in with the cacophany of howling mongers. Okay, a lot like that bazaar. "Well, where the hell are we?"

The Doctor looked absolutely thrilled, the grin on his face irritatingly boyish. He was so effervescent it was almost sickening sometimes. "Feng-Tao City, Capital of the country Bloudan, of the planet Moo--"

Hold on a sec. "Moo? Like the sound a cow makes?"

The Doctor paused to think, "Yeah, s'ppose so. Though I think in their native tongue it's more along the lines of 'Goddess Has Saved Us', but ya never know..." His grin returned, bright as ever, "Well..." He hopped out of the TARDIS, duster twirling like a cape as he turned to look at Donna, a slightly manic twinkle in his eye, "Allons-y!"

Watching the back of his head disappear into the crowd, Donna rolled her eyes and set off to catch up with him. The reason that she'd signed on for this was slowly becoming less and less apparent. Then again, she could always be sitting at home, arguing with Mum about finding a real job and sitting, watching the telly with Gramps every night.

Donna walked a bit faster, slowing as she arrived at the Doctor's side. "Well, what are we doing here?"

"Feng-Tao City is one of the best places to get some of the rarest and most delicious teas this side of the Klazon Nebula. The trick is," he said with a theatrical flourish, "to follow your nose." With that, they parted ways. The Doctor off to find his precious teas, Donna to...whatever. "Oh and Donna!" He called over the crowd, "Watch out for the..." His words were lost in the roar of the crowd. Donna shrugged, whatever it was, she was sure she could fend for herself.
