L sat on the leather couch. He had his knees tucked up against his chest. His eyes drifted to the giant window. Rain. It poured. The moon shone through the Black night sky. It haunted the world, Always staring never blinking back or shifting gaze. 'How can it rain so harshly on a clear night?' L thought in wonder. He shivered.
He shifted his gawking once more. Now to a Photo.
Take a photograph, It'll be the last. Not a hollar or a crowd could ever keep me here.
It was a metal picture frame. The photo was of him and Light. They were at a new years festival. Light had his arm around L and was laughing. L had a small smile plastered on his face. L gave off a small smile.
Memories. He never liked them. Well he didn't like some of them.
The most hated was his parents death. He winced even at the thought of that horrifying day.
The memory would not leave his mind. Like the moon haunted the sky, that memory haunted L.

*Flashback*
" DADDY! DON'T SHOOT HER!" Tears ran down L's small face. His father held a gun up to his mother. He had rage and fire in his eyes. The woman was up against the concrete wall. She was spitting Venom through her words [ 1 ]. The man's blonde hair and grey eyes stood frozen. L was frightened by all this. He was surprised that his father would murder his mother?
" You basterd, you cheat on me and you wanna kill me?" She screamed.
'Daddy cheated on mummy?' L was heart broken. Though he had saw this coming. His once loving parents had fought more and more over the past months. It was no surprise. L thought they would just divorce. But no, It was worse. Tears continued to fall down L's face. Thats when he heard it. 'BANG' His mothers back hair fell with her body. Blood stained her yellow long-sleeved dress.
"MUMMY" L Screamed. Another shot was heard. This time his father fell to the floor. Blood spattered the young boy's turtle neck and blue scarf. His pants were stained red.
L ran until his legs became numb and limp. He was soaked in blood, Tears and rain.
Not a Family or Honest plea remains to say,

L pushed his knees into his chest. Trying to forget. He couldn't.
At that moment a soaking wet Light Yagami walked through the door. He had came from his parent's house. He walked into the room. His head cocked up as he heard whimpers and cries. They were quiet but he could hear them perfectly.
Is it you i want or just a notion of a heart to wrap around so i can find my ways?
Light walked to the small bedroom in the corner of the apartment.
"L?" He asked quietly. "Why are you crying?" L said nothing. Light walked over to where L was lying. He hugged him. " I hate rain..." L grumbled blocking out as many tears as he could. "Why?" Light asked " My father killed my mother and commited suicide in the rain." L stated bluntly. "..." Light was stunned. "Maybe i can cheer ya up?" Light Pulled a box out of the pocket of his light brown jacket. L looked up. " After three years I think i have the guts!" L looked stunned but happy. L tackles light and kissed him deeply. " Is that a yes?" L nodded.
To lie here under you, Is all i could ever so...
For once in his life L loved the rain...
