Sam's POV
I shouldn't be here. I should just drop off his DVD and leave. But for some reason, I couldn't move.
Freddie's POV
I stood by the window with my arms crossed, staring out the window, remembering my conversation with Sam.
Flashback
I stood at my locker, waiting for Carly, when I saw Sam walking up. I smirked.
"Admit it. I was right. I finally got the girl of my dreams." She winced, but smiled.
"Alright, alright. You win. You were right, and I was wrong. Congratulations." She smiled weakly and started walking out the door, humming a tune. It was catchy.
"Sam!" I called. She turned around.
"Yes, Freddork?"
"What's that song?" She looked confused.
"The one you're humming." She smirked and pulled a notebook from her bag. She threw it to me.
"Page 47. Take a look. You might learn something." And she turned on her heel and left the school. As I started to open it, I saw Carly coming up the hall with a smile on her face. I put the notebook in my backpack. It could wait.
