My Choice (Alternate Dimension)
Notice: For those of you who liked My Choice (Original Version) you might like this. The story takes place after chapter one and it is very different from the original so read and review and watch for another story which will be a surprise pairing it will either be Anzu/Yugi, Anzu/Serenity, or Yugi/DMG. Read and Review this story as there is more on the way.
Chapter 1 Reborn
Joey laid asleep thinking over the days events in his dream. His dream was starting like any other. Serenity was walking with him and they were talking. "Out of all the dreams you've had this one seems to be the weirdest" Serenity said smirking.
"What do you mean" Joey asked looking around. She was quite right of course. It looked like they were walking in the middle of the sun. There was nothing visible but bright light and it did not seem to bother Joey.
"You know what I mean" She replied. She wrapped her arm around his and put her head on his shoulder.
"Serenity why didn't you ever tell me you loved me before yesterday?" Joey asked.
"I never had the courage too Joey but when you comforted me I felt stronger then ever" she replied.
"If the others find out about this won't they think it's a bit weird" Joey asked. She looked at him with her eyes shining.
"Joey I love you and your friends are going to have to accept that if they really care about you right" she said.
"Yes but will they…" he started but Serenity cut across him.
"Yugi and everyone else will understand if you just explain it to them Joey and if they don't accept it they will have to eventually accept that we love each other Joey" Serenity said. Joey looked down at her and noticed she was blushing very deeply.
"Why are you blushing" He asked kissing her on the cheek.
"Just thinking about our future together" she replied blushing deeper at his kiss.
"You two will have no future together "came an evil voice. Joey's dream changed Serenity disappeared and all the light was gone. The area all around Joey was black and an evil laughter was cackling out. Joey gasped as he recognized the voice and laughter.
"Marik is that you" He asked.
"Indeed" said Marik's voice.
"Yugi defeated you so how can you be alive" Joey asked.
"Remember when my weaker self possessed you well a bit of me went into you so in case I was destroyed I could continue my evil ways" Marik said.
"What do you want" Joey asked
"Why revenge of course and what better way to do it then by destroying the girl you love most Serenity" Marik said. Joey woke with a start and his head began to hurt. A voice inside Marik's voice was telling him it was useless that he was going to take over Joey's mind and body and use him to first kill Serenity then get revenge upon the Pharaoh for stopping his evil plans. Joey struggled as hard as he could to break free. He remembered the last time Marik had controlled him. He had forced both him and Tea to the docks and had nearly killed him. Joey had dueled Yugi under his spell eventually he managed to break free of his grip with Yugi's help. Serenity managed to save Joey from dying underwater.
"You won't control me" Joey shouted. His body went rigid and all his thoughts stopped. Marik had finally seized control. Joey/Marik looked out the window. Tomorrow Marik thought I will do what I came to do. With that Joey/Marik plopped on the bed and fell asleep. Marik was Reborn inside Joey Wheeler.
