She grabs the bottle with two fingers, holding it up as she walks around the gurney. Speaking as the blonde boy shoots up and swallows, staring at her with questioning eyes. "Side effects," She reads with an almost clinical voice, letting very little.. anything slip into it. "include anxiety, weight gain," Her eyes glance upward at the boy, a few pounds overweight for his build and clicks with her tongue, "acne," Another glance at his face and he scowls but doesn't break eyes contact. "and Ulcerative colitis." She lets her face contort and looks up with an exclamation of, "Ew."
"Who are you?" He asks in a quiet tone, quiet because he's been invisible for years. Pulling all the tricks he can to stay invisible, unnoticeable and now there's this woman with piercing eyes before him that make him feel pinned like a bug with a needle.
"Let's" Deria purrs as she turns away walking away from him, then turning back with a thin smile, "just say we have a mutual friend." She stares at him, face shifting to one of concern for a split second before asking. "You get a warning, don't you, right before you get a seizure."
He swallows, adam's apple bobbing and looks away then back at her. "It's called an aura." Eric explains but he's tried of explaining, tired of reasoning. Tired of meds and being almost crippled by this disease. He lies, "It's like a metallic taste in my mouth."
She tilts her head and licks her lips, watching her seriously for a moment before speaking. "Erica, you don't have to lie. Not to me." She smiles softly and moves a step closer, "What's it really taste like?"
"It tastes like blood." The words hang in the air like a wall between them and Deria wonders if she's doing the right thing. He could have his life back, she reasons, and I could have a Pack. She's struck by that loneliness again, missing Lance and knows she's to blame. But things are different now. She's the alpha now. She needs a Pack.
"What," She asks, starts to ask as she steps closer, eyes not leaving his. "if I told you," Her hands grip his ankles with ease and she tilts forward, making sure to show off her breasts, "That all of this could go away? The side effects," Derica speaks carefully, watching his expression, sensing his arousal. "The symptoms, all of it." Her hands tuck under his knee, having slid up his legs, and pull him down, closer. "And what if those things," Her lips are a breath's away from his and she's using sex as a weapon and it's a low moment, but it's all she really knows. "not only went away, but everything else," She breathes in as he breaths out and his heart is pounding in his chest and she smirks, "got even better?"
"How?" He breathes out and stares her in the eyes, doesn't look away or glance down and she likes it. Likes his intrigue and her eyes glow red as she replies.
"Let me show you."
