I drive my car to Goode High School for Percy's orientation. My boyfriend Paul told the school he works at to let Percy go to the school, Percy thought it was a bad idea. I think it was nice of Paul to do that but I'm worried, every school Percy goes to he destroys it. It is not totally his fault because there is just a lot of supernatural forces that want to kill him which ends making him destroy the school .
As I pull my car into the front of the school I see Paul giving out maps of the school and saying hello to the new Paul I see a big brown building shaped like a square and has a fancy stone archway. Paul looked nice with his salt-and-pepper hair, denim clothes, and leather jacket as I looked at him a small smile formed on my face.
"You haven't told him the truth about me, have you? Percy's voice knocked me out of my thoughts.
At first I did not know how to answer him back. I was scared of telling Paul about Percy being half Sea God and whatnot.
"I thought we should wait," I admitted.
"So we don't scare him away."
"I'm sure orientation will be fine, Percy, It's only one morning."
"Great," he mumbled. "I can get expelled before I start the school year."
"Think positive. Tomorrow you're off to camp! After orientation, you've got your date—"
"It's not a date!" he protested. "It's just Annabeth, Mom. Jeez!"
"She's coming all the way from camp to meet you."
"Well, yeah."
"You're going to the movies."
"Yeah."
"Just the two of you."
I had a small smile on my face as Percy said his next words.
"Mom!"
