"Ricardos," Juliet said as she entered Richard's house.

"Sic?" Richard replied from the couch in his living room. (Yes.)

"Captivum habimus," she said. (We have a captive.)

"Qui?" (Who?)

"Clara, mater." (Claire, the mother.)

"Et pater Charlius captivus est?" Richard asked, confused. (And is the father Charlie captive?)

"Non, et qui pater non est," Juliet responded. "Fac tu aquam habes?" (No, and he is not the father. Do you have water?)

"Sic, ago." (Yes, I do.) Richard stood up and walked into the kitchen. He reached into his refridgerator and pulled out a bottle of Dharma bottled water.

"Gratus," Juliet said, smiling as she took the bottle from Richard. (Thank you.)

"Julieta, tu neque sunt?" Richard asked. (Juliet, are you alright?)

"Sic, sed quaestium habeo." (Yes, but I have a question.)

"Quid eam est?" (What is it?)

"How long do I have to practice Latin?" Juliet smiled.

"Well, it's been three years, and you have been making quite some progress," Richard answered. "But there will be a day where you have to answer a question such as 'What lies in the shadow of the statue?'" He smiled and laughed softly.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Before Juliet received an answer, Ben barged through the door.

"Richard, have you seen Juliet?" Ben asked.

"Hello, Ben," Juliet said, giving Ben a small wave.

"Is it time for your Latin lesson?"

"Sic, Benjaminus. Ego profectum dixit feci." (Yes, Benjamin. He said I made progress.)

"Very good," Ben said, slightly smiling. "Juliet, we need you to come down to the Staff so that you can work on Claire."

"I will be down there soon."

"Thank you. See you down there." Ben waved and left the house.

"So, Richard, what was the answer to the question?" Juliet asked.

"And the question was?" Richard asked.

"What lies in the shadow of the statue?" Juliet asked, becoming slightly annoyed.

"Ille qui nos omnes servabit." Richard answered.

"He who will save us all?"

"That is correct."

"Why is that question so important?" Juliet had an amused look on her face.

"You want to know where Jacob is?"

"No one knows where Jacob is, except for you," Juliet said, laughing.

"Well, that's the answer."

"Well, the statue I assume you are talking about was destroyed when the Black Rock crashed onto the Island over one hundred years ago, so that answer is a little outdated."

"Yeah, I know," Richard said. "How else do you think I found him?"
