I was listening tofancy love songs and suddenly my mind forced me to writesuper-cheesy and warmsap. (I happen to like sap, mind.) It's Al/Winry and, need I say sap?
Sun

The only warning Alphonse got were strands of hair brushing against his cheek when Winry leaned over his shoulder. The smile that spread over his face came naturally in her presence, he turned his head to look at her, for the moment just relishing in the warmth she seemed to emit.
"You done?" he asked, and meant the prosthesis she had been working on the entire morning. Her nod didn't surprise him. He knew from experience that once Winry had started something she kept working until it was finished. "Have you eaten yet?"
"Mm, no." She put an arm around his shoulders and squeezed gently.
"I'll fix you something." It was a promise, but he couldn't help but linger. The sun was still shining though the window, Winry was warm against him, and they were both smiling.
"Thanks." Winry didn't seem obliged to move, either. "What are you doing?"
She peered at the paper he'd been doodling on, reached for it and scrutinized it critically. "Wow. Remind me to never let you try becoming an artist."
"Winry…" He tickled her bare side--she was only wearing her overall tied around her waist and top--as revenge.
Batting away his hand, she let go of the paper again. "You're better than Ed, at least."
"Thanks," he replied dryly, but hadn't really been offended at what was more of an insult than compliment. Winry grinned at him.
She was beautiful like that, he thought, in a moment of rapture. Sun was playing in her hair (it was tangled, most probably recently released from the head-scarf), oil on her arms and a worn pair of working-gloves in her hand. Confident and comfortable, her face was all warm smiles and dimples.
He stood up and kissed her.
"What was that for?" she laughed when she was released. Her cheeks had darkened to a light rose.
"For standing there in the sun," he answered, fondling her shoulder before kissing her again.

Now. I shall return to playing Monkey Island. D
