AN: Hi, guys. Yes, I do realize that this is super depressing. I kind of made it that way on purpose. I wrote this because I was thinking about how Disney could have really built on the emotion of the scene where Anna freezes. In this song, Elsa is imagining her life without Anna. After the song ends, the movie would snap back to the present, showing Anna beginning to thaw. I just think it would have brought the scene to a new level. Review please!

{Verse 1:Right after Anna freezes}

Elsa:

Anna!
(Crying)
I wish I'd built a snowman

Why was I so afraid?

I'll never see your face again

I should've come out the door

Because now you've gone away

We could've been best buddies

But I lived in fear

I wish I could turn back time

I wish I'd built a snowman
'Cause now we'll never build a snowman.

Olaf:
It's okay, Elsa

Elsa:
But I let her die...

{Verse 2: Elsa is alone in her ice castle, with only Anna's statue for company. The rest of Arendelle is deserted. All the people have either left or died of cold}

Elsa:

(Crying)
I wish I'd built a snowman

Or at least come out the door

I hope you know how loved you were

I've started talking to

your statue in the halls!

(Hang in there,Elsa!)

It gets a little lonely

This big empty town

Just wishing you'd come back to life!

(Sob-Sob-Sob-Sob-Sob-Sob)

{Verse 3: Elsa is very old, and near death. She continues to live alone in her castle. She is, in a way, looking forward to death, because she will see Anna again}

Elsa:

(Crying)

Anna,

Please, I wish that you were here...

Time seems to pass so slowly now….

I know you're here with me, but I feel so lonely

I have nothing left in life, just let me go

Soon we'll have each other

But right now its just me

I know I will see you soon

And then we'll build a snowman….
