hello once again you guys! I know I know I am still working on my other story Wilting Flower. But this has been in my head for a while and I felt like maybe I should do this before I go insane! I know writing two stories at once will be difficult but what's life without a few challenges. I will try to update both of these stories and I wont forget about the other one. Please tell me what you guys think. Do you guys think I should continue this story? Let me know. Thank you!
Now... to the story!
I do not own Inuyasha in any way form or fashion. Wish I did, but sadly don't.
8 year old Rin was running down the street with her favorite teddy bear. Not far behind her was her uncle. She was running as fast as he could and turned a corner. She stopped to hide behind a box and watched as her uncle passed her up. She sat down and tried to catch her breath. As she did she took off her shoes, she always felt safer and she learned that without her shoes on she could run at an incredible speed. Almost at an inhuman pace.
She peeked out the corner of the box and saw the coast was clear. She began to run, but to where? She didn't quite know. Her instincts were telling her to keep going straight. So she did. After a while she made it to a rather large case of steps. She recognized these steps. They led up to Higarashi shrine. Something in her told her to go to the shrine. As she began running up the steps she began to hear steps coming up behind her at a rather fast pace. She turned and saw it was her uncle; he had finally begun catching up to her. She panicked and ran even faster becoming a blur. She stopped in front of a set of doors and opened them.
When she looked in she saw an old well. She climbed down a few steps to look inside; she was greeted with a few bones at the bottom. She then began to pick up on her uncle's labored breathing getting closer, she panicked once more. She held her bear as tight as she could and jumped inside the well hoping to hide. She had her eyes closed but could vaguely see a bright light through the inside of her eye lids. She began to realize the impact of her hitting the ground never came.
Terrified as she was she opened her eyes very slowly. She was inside the well and sitting on the ground hugging her bear still. Am I dead? She thought as she looked up.
When she looked up she saw the blue sky with a few birds flying over and the sound of them chirping was loud. She looked to her right and saw a few vines inside and decided to try and climb out. She put her bear inside the straps of her small overalls and grabbed a vine.
It took her a while before she could actually find a certain way to level out her weight and use her small arms to climb.
When she finally made it to the top she looked around at her new surroundings. She was in the middle of a forest. There were huge trees all around her and all types of little animals. She then turned to look at the well and began to think maybe she had died. But then again I wouldn't have had so much trouble climbing out. Could I really be in this new place and not dead?
After having thought it through she decided she wasn't dead, especially after she found a sharp rock and cut herself. She began to bleed. Dead people don't bleed or feel pain. That is when she turned to the well and looked straight at it, it must be a portal of some type. It was then that she made herself a promise that she was never going to go back home.
Alrighty you guys. what do you think? Is it worthy enough to continue? Please let me know your thoughts. I love every single review I am given, whether it be bad or good. I am trying to improve my skills if needed so if there is improvement needed do not hesitate to let me know!
