Bold- Kaorus thoughts
Today was it the day Kaoru would finally tell him ,was he scared yes very. Will he back down and stay silent no he needed to do this, Hikaru needed to know how he felt.
IHewaited growing impatient for his brothers arrival home. Why is he taking so long ? M-maybe he confessed to Haruhi and they are together kissing a-and, He couldn't bear to finish that thought if He did He wouldn't have the courage to tell him and he needed to tell him before its too late he couldn't lose him knowing he might have had a chance and blew it being a coward.
The sound of the door jolted me out of my thoughts "Hikaru..is that you ?" Kaoru said.
"Yea..Sorry Kaoru traffic was bad and I couldn't leave Haruhi out there to walk home alone in the rain, We don't want our toy sick now do we" ? Hikaru said
"No..no we couldn't" Kaoru said though inside he was jealous that he cared so much about that 1 girl he didn't hate Haruhi she was his friend but still he was jealous.
"Kaoru whats wrong ?" Hikaru asked concerned about his twin.
"H-hikaru I can't do this anymore" Kaoru said with tears falling from his eyes.
"Kaoru What do you mean ?" Hikaru asks confused and scared something bad has happened to him.
Kaorus heart screams louder and louder as the moments pass until he shouts as loud as he can "HIKARU I LOVE YOU MORE THAN A BROTHER, ..You are my other half ..my soul mate"
"K-kaoru" Hikaru says Shock clear in his face.
Kaoru takes Hikarus shock as rejection "Hikaru it doesn't matter I'm being stupid you love Haruhi..I don't want to get in the way of your happiness" Kaoru says tears falling from his eyes . He turns towards the door and starts to leave.
Hikaru pushes Kaoru up against the wall "Kaoru I never loved Haruhi I was only interested because she was the only person who could see us as 2 people instead of of just twins..Kaoru I have loved you for so long You can't imagine how happy you have made me" Hikaru say smiling as tears of joy fall from his cheeks.
"Hika-Hikaru" Kaorus says The happiest he has been in his whole life.
Hikaru slowly leans in and captures his twin wait no…lovers lips in a kiss showing him and him only how much he loved him.
Kaoru happily returned the kiss knowing that finally speaking the truth was worth it because now he had his Hikaru and would never let him go.
Hikaru and Kaoru walked into school the next day with the brightest smiles anyone had ever seen them show and it confused them what could have made those to soo happy and if anyone asked the twins of course would say wouldn't you like to know the truth and walked away secretly while no one was looking holding hands.
