I sighed shaking my head, it had been three weeks since I had been diagnosed and I couldn't get chemotherapy because it wouldn't help well there's that and the fact my family couldn't afford it. Only five people knew about the cancer, my parents, my doctor, myself and Cat Noir who had come to see me the night before. I looked up seeing the tv channel had changed suddenly

"This is a urgent news flash. The body of the late Adrianna Agreste, the wife of Gabriel Agreste an mother to young Adrien Agreste was found. Adrien who was rather close to his mother before she disappeared on Christmas day 7 years ago. The late Agreste passed away from Myeloma Cancer. Her funeral will be held on Saturday the twenty five, the day she was last seen. We will have more on this later tonight"

Marinette turned the television off as she sighed thinking

"Poor Adrien, he must be so heartbroken..." She could only picture the look of...despair in the young model's green eyes and yet for some reason it reminded her of a certain cat who she had seen the night before. The young designer sighed curling up falling asleep having decided to sleep on her troublesome thoughts that were clouding her mind

Adrien's p.o.v

"Wait...that's the same cancer Marinette has..."

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about your mom Adrien" Plagg said as he patted his shoulder trying to comfort the young boy

"We can figure that out later, I need to go see ladybug, Plagg transform"

The little cat like creature was sucked in the ring on the boy's hand, Adrien was then transformed into Cat Noir, the superhero of Paris who was partners with Ladybug.

Cat leaped across the rooftops of Paris to the little bakery that Marinette's family owned. Ladybug had asked to meet him there for some reason

"Hello my lady...what's wrong?" He asked seeing she seemed different, less energetic, more pale an her eyes didn't seem to have as much sparkle as they normally did

"Remember what Marinette told you last night about how she was sick an to not tell Adrien..."

"Of course, what's up? " he asked unsure how to use a cat pun in this awkward situation

"It's not just her...it's both of us...because I'm her..." Ladybug spoke as a flash of red appeared an in the red an black spotted heroine's place was a frail an quite ill looking Marinette-Dupain Cheng

Cat blinked looking at her in shock...he wanted to know who his lady was but not like this...

" Marinette...it's you...your Ladybug...?"

The young girl nodded and sighed looking down as there was a green light from cat noir an in his place was none other than Adrien Agreste

" A..Adrien..." the young girl asked before passing out in his arms

Adrien blinked as he caught his friend as he tried to take in all this information

Plagg floated to him "Dude take her to her room so you can talk. Besides I'm starving! " his stomach roared as the two heard a little giggle

"Hi I'm Tikki. I'll explain everything once we get inside" the ladybug like creature said as she hid in Adrien's pocket with Plagg.

"well okay then..." Adrien shrugged carrying Marinette tto her room and sat waiting. He wanted answers and he wasn't leaving until he got them...and some goodies from the bakery...
