A quick random short scene I wrote after my exam. I used Leo from the movie, this is a scene I randomly created where he is about to leave for home.

The wind whistled through the trees, rustling the leaves at his feet.

A mouse scuttled by, and birds chirped morning greetings overhead.

But he stood alone.

The breeze swirled about him, playing with the tails of his bandana.

The stray cloud danced away, showing the sun once more; that beautiful yellow ballerina in the sky, locked in an eternal dance with her partner the silver moon.

His eyes followed the whispering stream, and he stepped away from the sun, into the cool welcoming darkness of the shadows of the forest.

His place was in shadows, darkness.

He was a ghost, a myth.

He belonged not in the warmth of the day, but in the cold grip of night.

He turned his back on the clearing.

Following the stream; following his heart.

He'd been gone for too long.

so what did you think? I didn't mean for it to be in the movie context, but with the going home part, and the ghost reference, it just seemed to fit better that way.
