It was just another day in Kelethin, the sun was shining through the treetops, and the birds were singing their happy songs. Today was practice for the annual entertainment that the School of Druidry puts on. And on this day Kaluvien came to Kelethin to meet up with his friend Keile, the apprentice druid. Kaluvien approached one of the lifts and called it down to ground level. When it finally came down he got on and started it going up to the top of the city. When he got up to the city he made his way to the School of Druidry to meet up with Keile. Along the way he passed many shops, and guilds. Not to mention many aspiring youths who were pretending to be fighting off the minions of the Crushbone.

Approaching the School of Druidry, Kaluvien stopped for a second and took a deep breath. It had been 3 years since he had last seen Keile, for he had been out searching for something...something that he never found. He looked up at the sky, and then back at the doors and headed inside. Inside he found Keile, as well as about 15 other druids. He then went up behind Keile and tapped him on the shoulder.

"WHOA!" Keile screamed, startled by the tap. He then turned around to see who was there. He found himself face to face with Kaluvien. They both just smiled at each other and gave one another a big hug.

"Kaluvien?! Is that really you?" Keile asked, "It's been so long since I had last seen you!!"

"Yes...it has been a long time...just about 2 years now I suppose..." said Kaluvien, "But I am here now, and I am ready to watch you practice for your big show!"

Keile looked down at the ground, "Yes...the show. I have been practicing this new Charm Animal spell...but I just cannot seem to get it to work!" He then sighed, "Perhaps I am just not cut out for this..."

Kaluvien put a hand on Keiles shoulder and smiled, "Cheer up, you will get it eventually, you just need to practice is all..."

Keile gave Kaluvien a small smile, "Thanks Kal...I can always count on you for encouragement!"

Keile then turned back to the caged wolf that he was trying to use the spell on, and began to try it again. The wolf began to get calmer, and then sat down. Its eyes were fixated on Keiles.

"YEAH! I did it!" Keile yelled, "I finally got it to work!"

Keile then proceeded to unlock the cage to let the wolf free. The wolf walked out of the cage, and then suddenly lunged at Keile, growling. It then pushed Keile to the ground and tried to bit Keiles throat. Suddenly the wolf backed down, and sat in front of Keile.

"I told you, don't loose your concentration," a voice said, "if you do, the spell will not take hold."

Turning around Kaluvien saw that Eteren was at the door, grinning. "Eteren, my dear friend. How have things been?" he said.

Smiling, Eteren replied, "Everything has been well in your absence, Kaluvien...but I had to pull a double shift to keep this druid out of trouble." He then pointed to Keile and laughed.

"Come," said Eteren while helping Keile to his feet, "let us rest. Kaluvien, you can tell us about your journey while we go visit the pub."

Then, the three of them walked out of the school, and headed to the Pub for a bite to eat, and some wine to drink.
