It's the day before 2017 is over, how about a little story to celebrate the new year. I hope you all enjoy! Happy 2018 and Happy Birthday Kuro! :D

And so another year has ended at last, and a new one is just one day away.

New Year's Day...

Kuro was sitting at top of the rooftop looking at the night sky, want to get some peace and quiet because of the party. It's not like he hated it, he just wasn't a big fan of celebrations. Well, loud noises were a big negative on his list.

It all started with Mahiru asking him "What do you want on your birthday?" Then he answered, "a pillow and blanket to sleep in."

Then a few days later, Mahiru gave everyone secret invatations to celebrate the new year, but didn't tell Kuro about it.

The eldest Servamp woke up, rubbing his eyes in a lazy manner. He got up deciding to get some cola, when he open the door the living room was dark.

Then the lights were on and familiar voices shouted "Happy Birthday!" Kuro covered his ears to shut out day loud noises. He looked the people who were holding presents, his siblings and their Eves were here, including Hotaru, her Servamp Akane and their friends.

Mahiru was holding a ice cream cake with Oreo cookies on it, "Happy Birthday Kuro." He said smiling at the blue-haired vampire. Kuro looked at him and felt a little surprised. He didn't think everyone would remember his birthday, he kinda expect them to forget it.

He was... grateful.

"Big brother! I am here to celebrated just like you!" a familiar voice yelled. Oh no, Kuro didn't think everyone would remember his birthday too, and he was hoping they did. Tsubaki's birthday was in New Year's Day, while his was at Dec. 31.

Son of a-

Kuro sighed. There were some things he can't deal, the party wasn't that bad, everybody had a great time. Playing games, watch movies, opening gifts that were pretty cool or pretty embarrassing. The fact that it was loud was when he decided to go outside while no one noticed, and with Tsubaki kinda taking over actually made him a bit jealous.

Kuro turned his head around to see Mahiru smiling at him, and holding a small black box with a blue ribbon. "I know it's not much but I hope it'll make you cheer up. The bluenette opened the gift and a it's picture of him and everyone with happy expressions and a letter of everybody wishing him a happy birthday. Kuro felt his face a bit hotter about the others enjoying spending time with him, and today was proof of them having a great time.

"Kuro, it's time." said Mahiru, his hand reaching for Kuro's. Kuro grabbed it and they both looked at the silver moon as they begin counting down.

Kuro looked at Mahiru, pressed his forehead against his and smiled.

"Happy New Year."

And that's that! I want to end it with Kuro smiling, he looks so cute when he smiles. As for him and Mahiru looking at each other, I'll leave you guessing if their relationhip is platonic or romantic. I'll do a fanfic with Tsubaki soon, Hotaru and Akane are OCs in case you're wondering. Happy New Year and Happy Birthday Kuro. ;)
