How You Get the Girl
I do not own Supernatural in any way.
It was 1:00 in the morning when Lucy's doorbell rang.
She grabbed her gun from her bedside table and cocked it. She quietly walked to the front door and looked out the peep hole. Her heart stopped when she saw Dean standing on the other side. She set the gun and opened the door.
Dean was soaked to the bone.
"Are you insane?" she asked him, "Do you have any idea what time it is?"
It had been 6 months since she had seen him.
They had been together a whole year and then he had up and left for no reason.
Dean gave her a small smile and slowly lowered himself to one knee.
"Dean…" Lucy said.
"Lucy, I…" he started.
"Dean, get up", Lucy said, "Stop kidding around". She turned away to shut the door in his face, but Dean grabbed her hand.
The feeling of his hand wrapped around hers brought back memories.
She turned back to him.
"I want you", he said, "I want to be able to come home to you after a long hard day. Breaking your heart was the hardest thing for me to do. It was the stupidest mistake I've ever made in my life. I love you. I want you for worse or for better. I would wait for you forever. I want to see you walking down the aisle towards me in a long white dress. I want to see you carry my children. Please".
Lucy smiled and said, "You sure have a way with words Winchester".
"Will you?" he asked, "Marry me?"
"Yes. I will marry you Dean Winchester", she told him.
Dean got up and pulled Lucy towards him. His hand grasped her chin and she tilted her head up. Dean leaned down and placed his lips on hers.
Lucy's arms wrapped themselves around his neck.
Dean bent his knees and grabbed Lucy's thighs.
She hoisted herself up so she could wrap her legs around Dean's waist.
Dean walked forward into the house and closed the door with his foot.
As Dean made his way to the bedroom, Lucy was struggling to get Dean's leather jacket off.
4 months later, Lucy became Lucy Winchester.
The wedding was small with only a handful of people in attendance.
Castiel was the one who officiated the wedding.
Dean Winchester finally got the girl.
