Dear Mother, My Rose

Today is Mother's Day, and Ruby wants to honor her mother. She wrote a card for Summer, and she plans on going to her gravestone. What does it say? This a short story dedicated to Mother's Day.

Thank you, Mother, for everything. You are the best thing in the world for me. What would I be without you in my life? Less than what I am now, that's what.

Ruby Rose walked to Summer's gravestone. Ruby summoned the strength for this, as she needed to talk to her mother every once in a while. After all, today is Mother's Day.

Ruby was standing in front of the gravestone holding a card. She didn't had a lot of time to work on it, and her writing skills can sometimes be off, but it was good enough for her. It was the thought that counted.

Young and sweet Ruby Rose opened the card, and started reading.

Dear Mother,

You are but the most blooming, beautiful flower off all.

I look up to blooming, beautiful flowers, standing big and tall.

You are Summer, as you bring light and joy to all of Remnant.

I realize now, this empty void, that you are a part of me, my missing fragment.

You are Summer, as without you, there can be no light.

But in your memory, from days to come, for you, and just you, I'll glow bright.

You are Summer, as compared to all seasons, I adore you the most.

You are Summer, while I may be be a rose, I am your rose, and you are my rose.

I am your Ruby Rose, and you are my Summer Rose.

Ruby cried while she read. She didn't know if she was writer material, or if she is improving, but it was good enough for her. Today is a special day to celebrate, not just Ruby, but for everyone. To honor your mother, is important for everyone. But to Ruby, every day is Mother's Day, as there can be no one as amazing as Summer for her. Ruby remembers Summer today, and she will continue to remember forever.

Young and sweet Ruby, standing tall, joyful, and strong, says her prayers to Summer, and finally makes her departure.
