A night to remember

I sat quietly at the bar

Attempting to drink away the pain

Of the night before

How dare the woman leave me?

I told her not to look

But she opened the box

Seeing the photos inside

Dumping me on the spot

At first I couldn't see the dancers

Just large, breast less figures

Black leather on silver poles

But after a minute

My eyes focused in

And I saw who was dancing

Agents me

My god what the hell

What was he doing here

Did the woman tell him

Or show him the pic's?

Or was he still oblivious

Wanting me on his own

Did he know I'd be here tonight?

Or was it just our fate?

But by this point in time

I was too drunk to really care

I slipped a twenty in his thong

Running my finger

Over his thigh

Suddenly son's confident smirk

Turned to a bubbly grin

He seemed to be frightened

As he leaned forward

Kissing my neck

Leaving a smudge

Of black lipstick

I could feel my heart jump

When I looked at the door

His eyes sparkling

Asking for permission

I raised my hands up

Asking to be carried

He jumped to his feet

Taking me to the back room

He threw mw down hard

On the semen-stained couch

Jumping down quickly on top of me

But when he tried to take my shirt off

All the pictures of him

Spilled on the floor

I was up in a flash

Trying to get the pictures

Before he could

But to my demise

He got one first

Giggling at what was on it

I ran for the door

But I found it was locked

With son sitting in the couch

Jingling the keys in one hand

Hold the photograph in the other

I walked to him slowly

Head low, sluggish steps

Unable to stop staring at him

He didn't look angry

He looked rather amused

Waiting for me

With open arms

He smacked my chin back

Forcing a flask into my mouth

Cuffing my hands

As I slowly….pass…out…

The next morning I woke

In a giant strange bed

With no memory of the night before

Suddenly it all came back

The woman and the booze

But looking over

Seeing him next to me

I was warm

Feeling content
