Hey guysss! So this is a new story that I've been thinking up. It's my first Degrassi Fanfic so I hope you guys like it! :) The entire story is from Eli's POV. Without further ado, I would like to introduce… Anthem of the Angels.

Disclaimer: I do not own Degrassi. I do own the storyline of this story though.

"I'm so happy! Now I can finally put Asher in his place once and for all. He won't ever harass another intern again." Clare sighed with a smile on her face.

She was sitting in the passenger seat of Morty. After the opening of Romeo and Jules, we decided that we should go celebrate by grabbing a late night bite at Little Miss Steaks.

I reached over and grabbed her hand. "Me to" I smiled.

She sighed again and squeezed my hand. "I'm sorry for getting mad at you Eli. I know now that you were just looking out for me."

"It's ok. I understand." I answered back.

"I love you Eli." She said, adoration clouding her voice.

I turned to look at her and smiled. "I love you to Clare."

She smiled back at me, before a look of shock passed over her face.

"Eli! Look out!" She screamed.

I turned to my left just in time to see a pair of bright lights heading towards us. And then everything was dark.

LINEBREAK

I blinked a couple times before my eyes opened to a blinding white light. I squinted until my eyes adjusted to my surroundings. I was lying down on what felt like cool slab of marble. I sat up and looked around, realizing that I was surrounded by white walls, made of some unearthly material, and lying on that same substance, the sky was also white, but it looked just like any other normal sky would be if it was white. Clare was lying down a couple of feet away from me, eyes closed and not a muscle moving.

"Clare!" I called, running up to her side. "Please tell me you are okay, please." I couldn't bare the thought of losing Clare, not after everything. After a couple of seconds, she gasped and her eyes flew open.

"Where am I?" She asked, her eyes looked around frantically, panicking.

"I'm here Clare, I'm here." I grabbed her hand, giving it a little squeeze. "You're not alone."

She looked at me with her blue eyes opened wide before saying. "Yes, but where are we?" She stated again.

I thought about it. I don't remember how we got here and certainly not where here was. The last thing I could remember was…

And that is when everything hit me. The car crash. But how did we get here? It obviously wasn't a hospital, because it was just a big space of nothingness.

"I don't know." I said solemnly. It was the only answer that I could give her.

We sat there for awhile, silence filling the space completely, bottling us up.

Suddenly, Clare's eyes opened wide and she gasped. "Eli… what if we're dead?"

Her lips started quivering and I grabbed her hands. "We're not dead ok? Something else is happening here, something that our minds can't even begin to grasp." We were too young to die, and I knew in my heart that something was off. It was that either, or my mind just didn't want to believe it.

She gulped. "What are we going to do now?"

I stood up, my hand that was still entwined with hers pulling her up to. "I'm going to find a way out of here." And with that, we started walking blindly into the never ending whiteness.

I'm sorry that this was such a short chapter, but this is only the beginning. The other chapters will get way longer. Review!
