Sam and Dean had parked the Impala near a field, where some people were setting up fireworks, which are going to go off once midnight hits.
"Can you believe we rarely even got to see these?" Sam asked. Dean just shrugged.
3… 2… 1…
BOOM! BOOM! First, a couple of fireworks shot from the ground and exploded into the sky. Several more exploded, and a lot of people shouted, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
Sitting on the hood of the Impala, Sam and Dean just stared, beers in hand and smiling, at the the colorful display that exploded before their very eyes.
