Kathryn's Grief
by Starsinger
Just a thought on what happens when Kathryn/Abigail realizes that David/Charming isn't her husband and that Regina tricked her. Oh, I wish I owned Once Upon a Time, but I don't…
Kathryn sat at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee. Days in a basement and at home hadn't softened the ache in her heart. He was gone, she missed him so much. She knew he was headed for Boston, that was just as well. She would never be able to look at him with Mary Margaret. She might be able to forgive the woman for driving a wedge between them. Who was she kidding? It had never been right, not since the night he left and she didn't find him until Regina found her and took her to the hospital.
Tears crept down Kathryn's face and she never noticed the buzz of energy that flew right through her. If only Frederick understood, her mind stopped, hesitated momentarily. Frederick wasn't her husband, Frederick was… Oh, god, she'd been sleeping with another woman's husband and then hit that woman for trying to take him back. Frederick, she had to find him. Regina was going to pay for this.
She hurried out the door intent on finding Regina, or Mary Margaret, or someone when she ran into him. It was Frederick. She looked up at him, tears still creeping down her cheeks as all that had seemed so desperately wrong was now right, "Abigail," he whispered to her, slipping his arms around her and holding her tight. The tears of frustration and sadness turned that of joy and happiness. She reached up and touched his face a moment before he kissed her. Neither noticed the purple cloud that swept over them.
Well, we'll have to wait til September 30 to find out what happens next, won't we? Don't worry, haven't forgotten about Snow and Rose. I'm tired and have Geology class tomorrow, so forgive my shortness by reviewing!
