Destiel: Story One
"Cas, you can't leave." Dean was staring at my shoes with tears dripping off his chin. "You can't leave... I... I don't know what I'm going to do with out... you" He looked up at me from across the room. His eyes bright with sad, furious and confused tears. "Dean", I said more tired and exasperated then I meant to, "I'm trying to protect you." His jaw was quivering and he looked back at the floor. I hung my head because I knew I had hurt him when I was trying so hard not to. Before I realized it he had strode across the room and stood there looking at me. I couldn't see sadness, pain, or hurt. I saw understanding, calm, and hope. He took my face in both hands pressing intensely his mouth to mine. His thumbs were softly rubbing behind my ears and his tears were coating my face. I slipped my right hand over his left, sliding my fingers between the spaces of his. My other hand was gently laying on his neck, while my thumb worked at ridding his face of the tears falling past his eye lashes.
He broke away and sat on the wooden chair behind him, now holding both my hands in his rubbing my wrists with his thumbs. "Please don't leave." He wouldn't look me in the eyes he just kept burring hole in my hands. I sat down on his legs facing him. Holding his shoulders now, I tried massaging them for some comfort for him. I chased his gaze to make his look at me. Moving my hands from his shoulders to his neck, "How could I leave a man as broken as you?"
He leaned his head against my chest and sobbed silently with relief. His arms were resting between us and after a few moments of his quite heaving I lifted his head. I looked into his eyes and kissed his forehead. "You'll stay?" He asked and I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. His head in my shoulder and mine in the crick of his neck. "I love you, Dean." I whispered. He looked at me and kissed me again more softly then the last time. I took his neck and he never took his hands away from the dimples of my back. Tears were burring on my cheeks but i could be sure if they were his or mine. I was crying just as much as he. And it would be impossible to have stopped. He backed away a little and took his head to my shoulder again. "I love you, too." He managed to say between heaves. The sincerity in his voice convinced me that second of my feelings. No matter what, I will always love him and I will never let anything happen to him. I took his face kissed his head and looked him in his eyes, "I will always be with you.", and I vanished. I have to save him from the monsters that will want him and me dead. He will move on from me. And he will live in abundance.
Dean never got over Cas and he always searched for him, prayed for a visit. He loved to sleep because he could see him in his dream-scape He never stopped looking. He never stopped loving, and he couldn't if he wanted to. As was his guardian angel and he could never forget how much his love for Cas healed him. Never.
