A night of firsts
Jean and Lucien
As he turns to head towards Lake Wendouree after telling her they were heading straight home after their first date. "What's he doing?" Jean wonders. They had spent a lovely late afternoon and evening. First they went to the movies, Lucien's first time. They then had dinner at the club. Mind you they didn't see much of the movie, they sat in the shadows and acted like addolestants kissing and cuddling. To Lucien's suprise Jean had been the one to instigate this.
They pull up to the spot that Jean knows well, as Lucien and Thomas's spot in the trees on the bank of Lake Wendouree, it is a lovely moonlight night "Lucien?" Jean looks at him with a look that asks "what are we doing here." He grabs her hand and kissed it. "I don't want go home yet, do you?" he asked. She answers by sliding closer to him, putting her arm around his neck and once the gap that is left is closed she kisses him again, passionately with that he knows her answer. She didn't want to go home quite yet. He brakes the kiss "did you enjoy tonight?" He asks, one of his hands moves to place some strands of hair that where wisping behind her ear. "Yes I did, did you enjoy the movie or what of it we saw?" she answers with a coy smile. "Yes, happy birthday darling." Lucien says with a large smile on his face. Before kissing her again, he spies glint of Jeans engadment ring out the corner of his eye in the moonlight. He can't quite believe that they will be Dr and Mrs Blake in just over 6 weeks.
