Five hours.
Five hours she stood in Bad Wolf Bay, waiting for him. Waiting for her Doctor.
She was cold, but it didn't matter. It didn't matter, because she knew that soon he would come, and she'd be warm in his arms.
The memories they had together were important, weren't they? She was important, wasn't she? Important enough for him to get her.
Six hours.
She loved him. He had known that, right? He had known that under every seeming unimportant touch, there was a under lying feeling.
So here she was, waiting for him, like he'd wait for her. Waiting for him to come with the TARDIS, waiting for him to take her away again.
Another half an hour pasted, and still she waited. It was only when the sun started to rise the next day did she feel it. Feel the breaking in her chest, feel the tears spring to her eyes.
He wasn't coming.
Rose Tyler's heart shattered.
