So this is mah first Overwatch story! And I decided to give the Shimada bros. some personality. Young Genji is all fun-loving and goofy while young Hanzo is all serious and stuff. I literally finished writing this in 10 minutes but hey, it was still fun to write :D PLEASE REVIEW

It was completely dark and empty and the famous Shimada clan's treasury. There is where they kept their most prized weapons that were to be passed down to the heirs of the Shimada clan. Well...it wasn't completely empty, there was one person, a spy- no- a ninja. Hidden in the dark, the ninja slowly and silently slipped past all the alarms and traps in the room, for he had done this many times.

After a while of avoiding booby traps and alarms, he had finally reached it...the fabled light switch. He flicked it so he can finally see, but there, in front of him. The famous Shimada clan Dragon Blade...and a totally lame bow or whatever next to it. But the blade. It was so cool, with the green lining the edge and how it looked all sleek and silvery and stuff.

He slowly removed it from it's case, careful not to set off the alarm. And he marveled at it's beauty and how it looked so awesome. He shifted his eyes around and slowly ran his finger across the blade. He looked back at his hand and...it was all bloody...shit. He panicked and looked at the slightly-bloody blade. Woops. He tried to clean it with his shirt but it just ripped right through it.

He panicked even worse when he heard footsteps coming towards the room, oh crap. He looked around, looking for a place to hide, but he failed when he saw Hanzo, the second heir to the Shimada clan, standing in the doorway with his arms crossed and a disapproving look on his face.

"Genji, how many times have I told you not to sneak in here?" he asked rhetorically and Genji sighed. "Hey, wait a second, how did you get past the traps?" he asked and Hanzo pinched the bridge of his nose. "Jesus Christ Genji, you know full well that there are no traps here! And why did you have to sneak in here? You practically own that sword!"

Genji rolled his eyes. "Of course you won't get it, Hanzo," he said. "Get what? Why are you pretending to be a criminal? It's stupid and non-sensical," Hanzo said and Genji sighed. "Not everything has to make sense, idiot, it's just fun...you do know what fun means, don't you?" Genji asked. "Of course I know what fun is you idiot!" Hanzo almost shouted. "Then why don't you have it every once in awhile instead of worrying about "rules" or whatever?"

Hanzo could almost slap that stupid sword out of Genji's hands when he heard rather loud steps coming this way. "Oh, shoot, dad's coming!" Genji whispered as he hastily tried to put the sword back in it's place. Hanzo ran towards Genji and put the sword back quickly and neatly. "We have to find a place to hide," Hanzo said and he ran behind the display of the bow, which was the biggest display in the room.

Genji ran behind a stylish vase on display that was right next to the entrance, but not before quickly turning the lights out. And just on time too, one more minute and they would've been toast. The father scanned the room, not bothering to turn the light's on, good thing too. If he were to turn the lights on he would've surely found Genji squatting behind the vase.

He walked back to his room and the two brothers came out of their hiding spots once they knew it was safe. "That was a close one," Genji said. "Genji, we've done this more than once," Hanzo said and Genji gave him a side-eyed glance. "You definitely don't know what fun is."
