This is a time when I set you free…
" Sora, C'mon!!" Riku shouted.
"later!" Sora whined.
It was 5:32 in the morning when Riku was practically pushing Sora out of his bed.
Riku was strangely anxious to show Sora something he had seen.
'Pushover.' Riku thought to himself as he walked to his discovery.
A large cave.
Riku walked in, as if he had seen this all before, when he had only noticed it a few minutes ago,
when he couldn't sleep, and decided to go for a walk.
However, when he walked in, he saw something that wasn't there before.
A girl was there, whose hands and feet were chained to the wall, her face red with blood, and covered by her golden hair.
She was wearing a ripped and torn white summer dress, and almost looked like she had fallen asleep when crying.
'she…' Riku thought to himself.
'almost seems…' He grabbed the chains.
'alive.'
The chains instantly broke in his hands, and the girl fell into Riku's arms.
Within a few minutes, the girl looked a bit pretty.
The blood on her face was wiped away from her face with Riku's shirt.
Her hair was combed out of her face, with a nearby sharp seashell.
And he softly washed her face with the freshwater he kept in his canteen.
'So beautiful…' He looked into her closed eyes.
' the face of…' He leaned into the body in his lap.
'an angel…' their lips weren't even inches apart.
But suddenly the eyes of the angel had opened suddenly, and Riku moved his face away from hers.
"Uh-Um…." He blushed and Stuttered. He couldn't think of a good explanation of why their faces were so close.
She wouldn't answer at first. She would just blink and stare at him naively.
But then she smiled, and Riku was redder than a tomato.
"um.." was all he could say.
"what-what's your name?" Smooth, dumbass. Was that all I could come up with? Why couldn't I ask why she was chained to the wall, or where she came from??
Oh, then again, I do want to know her na-
She put her finger to Riku's lips, ending his thoughts.
"You don't need to worry about it…" She said.
An angels body, an angels voice.
She silently headed out of the cave, but stopped at the exit.
"Riku."
She walked out, only leaving those words ringing through his head, but they didn't ring for long, because the last thing he heard
was himself screaming, "WAIT!!" and running out of the cave to catch up with the girl.
But she wasn't there.
All that was out there were her foot tracks that ended shortly out of the cave, and a shower of falling stars in the early morning sky.
Present time
Now he was staring at the door that had taken the place of the girl's chained area, and feeling the stone walls that had once been stained with her dripping blood.
"Riku?" a voice called out.
He turned around, and saw the same angel, only five years older, and amazingly beautiful.
"is everything alright?" she asked putting her hand on his shoulder.
He just smiled and looked into her ocean eyes.
"I'm fine," He replied, and held her face in his arms.
"Namine." His true and only angel.
