As always I own nothing… English isn't my language…
After an evening spent with Nate, Blair was confused.
Is it possible to have feelings for two guys? She wondered.
She had been dating Nate for some time. But Chuck was still in the back of her mind.
She was tired and just wanted to sleep. Her mother was away for a few days. But Dorota was there. She saw how confused Blair looked.
"Everything alright, Miss Blair?"
"Love is complicated, Dorota, I'm telling you."
"I know, Miss Blair."
"What do YOU know?"
Then Blair thought again. Dorota hadn't done anything to her.
"I'm sorry, Dorota."
Dorota said there was no need to apologize and left her alone. Blair showered and brushed her teeth. She went to bed. But something was weird. Something hurt under her pillow. She found a little box and grabbed it.
"What the…?"
She looked closely and was upset when she couldn't find the opening. She tried hard but it wouldn't open.
"Dorota? Could you please get me a knife?" she yelled from her room.
Dorota was wondering what for. But after so many years she stopped asking questions.
"I'm coming, Miss Blair."
A few seconds later, Dorota showed up with a knife.
"What is it, Miss Blair?" she asked looking at the box.
"I don't know yet. It was under my pillow. Did you see anyone come here?"
"No, Miss Blair."
Blair took the knife. She was getting impatient. She put all her strength on the knife and managed to open the box.
There was a letter inside. She read it out loud.
'Blair, you're close to my heart. Words are hard to tell. You will find somewhere in your room something special. It will show you my love for you.'
"Who is it from?" Dorota asked.
"No idea. Probably Nate."
Blair was confused, Is this a joke?
She searched her room but couldn't find anything.
If this is a stupid joke! She thought, mad.
A few minutes later she found the key to her safe. It had been moved. She opened it. Inside, another box. She grabbed it and again had to use the knife.
Once opened she found a bracelet with only those words 'I Love You'.
She melted. She knew who it was.
"You finally said it, Chuck!" she said out loud, "Well, at least you've written it!"
She called him.
"I love you too," she said.
"I can see that you found the secret box."
"Say it again," she urged.
"I love you, Blair. I should have said it sooner."
"Can you come over now?" she asked.
"On my way," he said before hanging up.
