'It is now confirmed that 4 new cases of an unknown illness has totalled it up to 6 people. The illness causes abdomen pains, shooting pains, vomiting, headaches, dizziness and fainting. The person will also become very weak and tired. We have no news on what it is or if you can recover from it. It has been discovered that you cannot catch it. It has to be administered into the blood stream. So please, if you have any information on who or what is injecting these people, ring Konoha police immediately.' Naruto sighed and turned off the TV.
'4 more cases Sas' Naruto called as he went passed the bathroom. Hearing a horrible noise, he suddenly stopped. 'Sas? Are you okay?' he knocked at the door. The door opened, and Naruto was met with a very pale, trembling Sasuke.
'I think something's wrong' Sasuke whispered before his eyelids fluttered and he fell into Naruto's waiting arms.
'shit.' Naruto took a look at Sasuke's wrist, only to see a small speck of blood. 'SHIT!!' without hesitating Naruto gathered the feminine 16 year old into his arms and sprinted out the door.
2 hours later
The door opened and Tsuande walked out. In a split second, the muscular blonde 17 year old was out of his seat and standing in front of her.
'how is he?'
'Naruto, his blood stream has been infected with the illness, and its moving fast' Tsuande whispered.
'w-w-what?! You can heal him though cant you Tsuande?' Naruto pleaded.
'I'm sorry Naruto, but he is going to have to fight it.'
'HOKAGE!! THE FIRST VICTIM HAS CRASHED!! WE CANT RESTORE A PULSE!!' Tsuande reacted immediately, and was sprinting down the corridor, leaving Naruto shocked.
'Sas.... this cant happen to him' he whispered to himself, shaking his head. He turned, and opened the door to the room that the Hokage had just emerged from.
There, on a soft bed, with the railings up, was a very pale Sasuke. 3 IVs in his right arm. Elbow, back of the hand, and side of the hand.
'oh Sas.'
2 days later
Sasuke yawned weakly before opening his tired eyes.
'hey Sas. How you feeling today?' Naruto asked quietly.
'M'okay'
'Neji and Lee came by when you were asleep' Naruto smiled. 'and everyone else is coming back from their missions-'
'they aren't due home for another 4 days' Sasuke said, confused.
'kakashi heard about you, so the whole team wants to come back early'
'are they crazy? They dont need to-'
'you know them lot. They wouldn't let anything stop them coming to see you' Naruto laughed. 'anyway. You hungry? I can go get you something'
'no thanks. Not hungry'
'you sure? you haven't eaten since yesterday morning, and its 5:30pm' Naruto said.
'yeah I'm sure. Wouldn't be able to keep it down for more than an hour anyway' Sasuke said as he shifted to curl up on his side, facing Naruto.
'stomach hurt again?' Naruto asked. Sasuke nodded into his pillow. Naruto took Sasuke's hand gently, careful of the IV and held it tight. 'want me to ask Tsuande for more pain medication?'
'no, I'm okay' Sasuke said.
'just, go back to sleep Sas, I'll wake you when everyone comes okay?' Naruto whispered as Sasuke let his weak, heavy eyelids flutter. 'everything'll be okay'
