Severus Snape ran through a forest something chased him panting Sev thought to himself 'Run Severus run'. He heard laughter a cold maniacal laughter it felt as if it readied to strike him down and kill him. In front of him stood a Werewolf the size of 2 Hagrid's, Eyeing him as if Christmas came early. He tried to back out but before he knew it Sev got elevated from his feet He looked in the Face of the attacker it was Voldemort but in his fathers face etched in its place. Instead except a wand there infront of him dangled a belt with the buckle the buckle which he hated the most in the world. The tobiasmort forced him to watch as Lily snoged James Potter he wanted to break away from this but he couldn't his eyes where fixed on the scene in front of him and before he knew it the hand of the tobiasmort turned his head to look to his left. Seeing his mother and Lily looking at him 'we don't love you get out of our sight'. Everything he felt going Blurry, and he could feel being shaken awake 'Sev Sev wake up your murmuring you having a bad dream your Shaking' he looked up and looked up to see a franatic Lily he looked around paranoid and frightened he looked around. He felt himself sitting on the floor of something that was moving he looked out the window he at present found himeslf on the Hogwarts Express. 'What where... eh' Lily Looked concerned. Lily and Frank lifted him up 'shh your on the Hogwarts Express back home for the summer Holidays your fine' Lily told him in a soothing voice. Sev looked around the compartment he was with his friends Alice, Frank and his girlfriend Lily he finished 4th year and he felt safe inside the comforts of the Hogwarts Express. He breathed a sigh of relief.

Lily still looked concerned at Severus he had a rough month. With something that landed him in the Hospital wing for 2 weeks but he wouldn't tell her. When they pulled into Kings cross it felt warm and sticky not your typical June afternoon weird for England which tended to be rather dull this time for the year until July when there was warmth that lasted two weeks. The two grabbed their trunks or in Lilys case a trunk and Owl the two walked over to Mr and Mrs Evans. Who hugged them both Professor Lieutenant Harrison Evans works a science teacher in the local Secondary school even though he had a doctorate and worked in a lab during the economic boom he found he much prefered to teach a bunch of kids. He also preferred dealing with kids rather than working for a University or back in the lab, Mrs Evans worked as a Nurse who helped in world war two and that's how she met Harry she worked in the local hospital as a midwife. 'Lily Severus I hope you enjoyed your term we will take the Sev home.'They piled into the car Severus and Harry loaded the trunks into Harrys volvo, after stuffing the last of the trunks the 3 Evanses and Severus sped of towards home they stopped in Birmingham for dinner which was fun affair.

The 3 Evanses and Severus arrived at Spinners end at 7 o'clock Sevs own prison. At this moment when Sev fell quiet and all the happiness vanished he grabbed his trunk thanked Mr and Mrs Evans and walked towards number 10 Spinners end. He walked to his own door standing in front of it it felt quiet to quiet he, he felt rattled to hear there was no fighting he entered. 'mum' no reply he paced to the Kitchen frantically and layed eyes his mother at the table. He sighed in relief smiling 'mum I'm home' she looked at Severus 'I have news for you' she had a smilie plastered on her face this was the first time he saw his mother smiling in real life. It almost made him smile until he heard two words from his mother 'your father' he looked at her 'what about him.'

she had tears of joy in her eyes 'he got around to get help last night he's locked up in a special place they will help him will be a family they will help him find a job if he gets clean and off the bottle', Severus looked shocked for the first time in years he collapsed into a seat he never heard his father sober. Ever would that mean it will be better, would that mean he would get a dad like a real father who cared for him not just shouted abuse not kicked or hit his mother 'what pushed him to do it' his mother looked happy she looked younger than when she looked sad or desperate like 10 years where of her face showing her actual Severus thought was it in her 30's 'I dont know he muttered something when drunk after a night out on the couch shouting your name. The next morning he woke up and said he needs help I took him to the doctors with him and he got placed into this special hospital the doctor said it will take about a month but it looks as if your father looked at the error of his way' Severus again shock came over him the man he grew to hate . On the path to go clean he felt as if it wasnt just possible to do it but deep down he wanted his father and he hoped that it would work. Severus and Eileen had a light dinner of chicken and vegtables his mother told him how since his father was admitted into rehab he still received his benefits so food could still be put on the table she told him how she decided to go back to school to receive muggle qualification of some sort.

That night Sev trudged to bed with a conflicted sense, one way he felt the happiest since asking Lily to be his girlfriend his father was going clean maybe he could go watch football with him like he saw some lads do or learn to drive a car couldn't hurt right. if he failed, it would hurt twice as bad but Severus wanted to believe it that his father would go clean if not Lily was his rock and he was her rock.
