Cole swallowed his anger as he glared at the girl who ran into Peter. She was about the same height as him, maybe an inch shorter, with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. Her mouth was open in an "O" shape, and she immediatly ducked to help Peter pick up his books.
"I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed "I wasn't paying attention!"
Peter blushed and slowly mumbled out "S'alright." Cole felt his anger dissipating. Most people at this school would have kicked Peters books away from him, and called them both gay when Cole got upset. Who was this new girl helping them out?
Just when Cole opened his mouth, she spoke. "I'm Rosie." She said, offering a hand and a grin. "You must be.. Peter and Cole, am I right?" Cole's guard immediately went up. She knew them. So she must know about the juvenile delinquent who spent time on an island and his victim-turned-friend with brain damage.
Her smile slightly faded when no one took her hand, but she quickly retracted it and brought up another grin on her lips. "Well, It was nice to meet you both!" She brought her hand up in a short wave, before flouncing off down the hallway.
