Ok first off im a new author here in the KFP fandom and I've been reading these amazing stories for a while and couldn't help but write on myself with all the ideas I've been getting so here you go! Hopefully you guys enjoy the first chapter! Without further adieu ON WITH THE STORY!
The Path of Po and Tigress
Chapter 1: Different Changes, Emotions and Revelations Rise
As the morning Gong rang people were already awake and opening their shops, restaurants, and windows to the fresh morning air getting ready for the day. The Furious Five as always ready and willing to start their training for they were already lined up and waiting for Shifu's greeting, except for a certain sleeping panda still in a deep trance of slumber as the Gong like usual didn't affect his sleep. Shifu chuckled as he walked his way to the panda's door. As he slid open the paper thin door he saw a big oblivious panda sleeping away making Shifu smirk followed by a loud THUD! Of his staff hitting the wooden floor waking the panda instantly.
" AHH, WHAT'S THAT! IS THE VALLEY UNDER ATT- OH UH GOOD MORNING MASTER SHIFU!... Sorry for sleeping in again master." as Po embarrassingly looked at Shifu.
"greetings panda, there's nothing to worry about." Shifu said with a smirk.
"Hey something funny?!" Po asked in a a slightly confused but challenging way.
"oh nothing panda...oh nothing, just get dressed and come out to greet everyone. We don't want to wait too long." Shifu said with a chuckle as he slid his paper-thin door back shut in respect of his privacy.
As Po got up and hurriedly dressed Himself he slid open his door and turned his head and greeted each of the Furious Five with a happy bow of respect towards his friends..no they were his family. He looked over to Tigress lastly bowing to greet and respect her, doing so Po saw Tigress form a smile and bow back first soon followed by the rest.
"Morning panda, glad you're out of your slumber" Tigress said as she greeted him
"Morning Tigress, slept well I presume?" the panda asked
Tigress blinked her eyes slowly and nodded in approval
"Morning students...we have some things to discuss this morning before we proceed" Shifu stated as on cue the Masters nodded in approval ready to listen to their respective master.
"well after the hard-fought Victory over Lord Shen, I've decided to give everyone a week off from training as I've believed you've earned it for saving China yet again.I'm pleased to say I'm very proud of you all. You all may do as you please after breakfast and meditation for an hour " Shifu Informed.
All the masters nodded and bowed in agreement pleased with their Master's decision because even though they are the best warrior's in China or possibly history they will need some air to relax and recuperate after such battles won especially after the Lord Shen fiasco. As everything was said and done Po hurried to the kitchen to make his famous noodle soup for breakfast.
In the Kitchen~ Master Shifu
As Master Shifu sat down in the Kitchen looking at all his happy proud to be called students. He finally sat down for the few times in his life with utterly nothing to worry about..sitting down in peace. Shifu sat down watching Po as he was focused on preparing everyone's breakfast. Shifu formed a smile of pride not noticed by his students as he thought. He thought about every student ,every decision and every choice. He mostly thought abt Po. He finally sincerely believed he was meant to be here even though in the beginning he was cruel and harsh towards the panda as he felt regret on that sudden thought. But even though Po faced Shifus utter harshness he never gave up, he never let it get to him, he never...failed him. Shifu is utterly at a loss of words with what the panda has faced in his lifespan and he feels sorrow for being a part in that. Shifu also couldn't believe how much he as grown, how committed he became, how disciplined, how brave and loyal he became. He was proud of Po, he was proud of the Dragon Warrior on who he has become and who he has changed the most...his adopted Daughter, Tigress. Shifu then drifted out of thought as he began to eat.
In the Kitchen, same time Shifu began to think ~ Master Tigress
As Master Tigress sat in the corner seat closest to Po she couldn't help but be in thought herself. She thought how much as changed in 3 years and how much everything has changed her. Her teammates, her friends could actually see expression within her now as she became more open since the arrival of Po and they saw one thing that stood out more than anything. Her Happiness. Tigress sat down with her usual attire but with a tiny smile to her lips not going unnoticed by the group.
As tigress sat down waiting she thought on how hardcore and serious she was in the beginning, no emotions, no feelings, nothing. She soon felt shame and pity at herself for her actions to why she was so mean and disrespectful to Po in the beginning. She realized why...she was jealous; she wasn't happy but cold. She was jealous on how a big fat clumsy stupid panda she once thought of took her title, took her one shot at finally being happy much to which she thought. She realized soon enough that she was wrong. The Tiger Master didn't need the title to be happy but she needed herself, her own self to open up to everyone but more importantly her friends, her family...Po. Po was the main reason of her change, the one that changed her so drastically so much for the better of herself. He changed the way she viewed life, the way she viewed him. Po made herself open up, Po made her take down that cold stone wall formed around her heart. Po indirectly saved her and she will forever be grateful for that. Realization hit her like a brick wall when Tigress saw Po in a different light for some time now. He wasn't a big fat clumsy stupid panda; he wasn't that at all, not even close in her eyes. Nobody would ever hurt or disrespect Po again and she will make sure of it. If anyone tried anything again they'd have to deal with her, a ticking time bomb ready to blow fierce and relentless Kung Fu. Fear struck her heart as she remembered Po getting blasted out the tower as he got hit with the ball of of pain. She thought she lost him...her panda...her happiness went out the window when she thought Po was gone. But while she was chained with the others there he was...her Po alive and well. She looked in complete amazement as she saw him do his thing and release the Thunder on those fools that thought they could stop the mighty Dragon Warrior. She felt happy and strong with him by her side again and she never wanted that feeling to go away ever again. He was strong, courageous, loyal, respectful, caring, kind, everything she has ever wanted in a perfect panda. Po has changed her into a better person a wiser warrior and she would think a closer friend but is it more?
The Tiger's train of thought got interrupted when a certain panda tapped her shoulder. Tigress looked up and immediately regretted it has she got caught staring into those beautiful green Jade eyes. Soon enough their eyes locked as he was looking into her beautiful Orange. As Tigress didn't want to make an awkward moment between them she used her quick thinking skills to look and see her soup in the pandas left paw so she quickly grabbed it knocking both of them out of the trance they were in and 'soon to be an awkward moment' taking this time to speak.
"t-thanks Po, it smells d-delicious" tigress stuttered out as she leaned back into her chair and began to eat her soup. One last thought crossed her mind as she began to eat.

BTW these {} are his negative thoughts while the ones without are the positive ones. Hopefully it clears things up.
Po was taking his time with his cooking. It was a way for him to relax...to think. But Po and his conscious were having a little battle with a plethora of thoughts confusing the panda greatly.
{God, why would she ever like you!?}
Well Maybe ive gotten into better shape but still
{there's no way she likes me like that! No way!}
We're really good friends! Yea! No but you like her! What no like that pssst... Ok fine I have a crush on her and always had since Gongman city but... How would i tell her... {She probably doesn't even feel the same! ...Ahhh who am i kidding im just a panda!}
But you have to try! ...UGHHHHHH FINE I'LL TRY DAMMIT! She'll be well worth it!...

Come on Po look at her! She's beautiful, smart, funny, cute, great to talk to, an amazing friend just perfect!
{Not to mention she has some nice curves under those wrappings!}Shut it po not those thoughts! Just take it slow panda take it slow... Ok fine slow and steady wins the race right?
{BUT ITS SO HARD TO EXPRESS AHHHH}
jeez I'll just do it when i feel ready..whenever that'll be.
As Po finished serving everyone he finally got over with the confusing fiasco in his head as he began thinking of yet again another subject. Po began to think about his family his friends. How much they mean to him, how much Tigress means to him even if it means she truly won't ever know it. He'd rather have the Tiger see him as a great friend rather than a creep with a crush ruining their already inseparable relationship. Po shook these thoughts aside for another time as he began to eat his soup with the others.
Po has certainly changed over the years physically that is. After the Lord shen fiasco and most recently Kai he began get into better shape. Po began first by training his heart out as he mastered every move, every punch, every kick until he could do it in his sleep. Po eventually became the most skilled warrior out of the five but not the strongest (only a close second by Tigress).He lastly came to defeat his old nemesis...stairs , after many hours everyday running up and down the thousand steps he achieved that goal. Po had become a fearsome warrior but he still kept his Panda composure because of the natural aspects of his species. Even though Po became a great warrior he will still always possess his personality. He still was his humble and outgoing fanboy self around the five because it was still like a dream to him. Nothing other than Po Ping himself bettered himself and the ones around him. He was so thankful for Oogway to make his dream practically reality. He soon finished his breakfast and begged Shifu for him to clean the dishes before he went to do his meditation and in no doubt Shifu nodded.
Before Meditation~
Po was cleaning the last of the fried on residue from the Pot as his Best friend, secret crush and well-respected teammate was on his right. As Tigress finished putting the rest of the dishes and utensils in their rightful place she was waiting for Po to finish wash and dry the last Pot in the sink.
Tigress has often helped Po with the dishes as it helps her relax and vent her emotions, but more importantly bond with Po. She enjoyed spending time with him and was pleased to know that Po probably wanted to spend time with her after they were done.
"uh Ti..you good?" the panda asked wondering why she was staring into space.
Tigress snapped out her train of thought and accidentally placed her paw on the pandas while reaching for the dry Pot making them both heat up. Pos red cheeks could be recognized more because of his fur which made the Tiger form a smile at the thought. Luckily for her Tigress kept the serious composure she still had and took the pot to place in the shelf just above her. Tigress was also lucky because of her fur hiding the blush on her cheeks because of her meer color.
"hey um Ti do you wanna go do something?" the Panda asked
As tigress thought her accusation was right on point.
"of course Po. And what would that be?" Tigress asked while putting her hands on her hips with a slight smile waiting for his answer.
Oh jeez uh I'm...we...shoot I didn't think if get this far". the panda said realizing its better to plan ahead and not forget it..again.
"you forget again didn't you." Tigress said
"what? Nah! What do you mean I we are gonna walk down I mean go up to yeah that place- ." Pos excuse got silenced as he started to talk bitter to none as the nonsense coming out his mouth was now quiet gibberish as he slowly and awkwardly shut his mouth (just like in the Gongman jail).
Tigress facepalmed herself at his lack of planning. "come with me, I wanna show you something". She then took poes paw and gently but firmly made Po follow her to their destination, after 5 minutes of walking they both reached the destination with Po realizing what the place was he spoke in excitement.
"OOO OOO I KNOW THIS PLACE ITS-"
"The Tree of Cherry Blossoms" Tigress stated
" I always used to come here and relax after training with the ironwood trees. It helps me be at peace." Tigress said
"Wooooowwwwww that's insanely cool!" Po said excitedly at the place he was around as he started to tell and talk about the legendary stories he was told about this place when he was a cub; Tigeress smiled at the panda while she was amused at the panda's fanboyish antics yet again.
Tigress giggled a bit on his antics quickly covering up her mouth in an attempt to stop it. Not going unnoticed by the panda as his ear twitched and head turn at the source of the noise standing a blushing Tigress.
"Oh...whats that huh? Is that laughter? Po said playfully giving him an idea. Tigress yet laughed again at his goofiness but soon was replaced by an "oh no you don't" look.
Po I swear what are you doing? You better not do what I think you're doing! PO! NO! STOP IT AHHHHAHAHAHHAHA!."
"you need to get all this laughter out of you, there shouldn't be such a thing! We need to treat this immediately! Po said playfully as he was now attacking with an array of relentless tickles to her armpits and her ribs making the tiger playfully kick, shout and struggle to get out like a cub as she was laughing her ass off.
With the dedication and determination not to let the Panda beat her like this, she too started to attack back with more force. Luckily to her, she knew where to tickle Po as well after learning from Master Shifu the panda is extremely ticklish...everywhere. As Tigress fought back the panda stepped back and squealed and he was laughing to point where-
"Oh STOP IM GONNA PEE! AHH HAHAHA STOP!" Po said laughing but Tigress kept going. As they were attacking each other in tickles they both didn't notice the tree branch laying near and both slipped and fell. As they opened their eyes...gazes meet into a trance not bothering them to care at the moment of Tigress on top of Po. As the Jade Green met the Sunlight Orange they both stared at each other, at each beautiful trait...just everything perfect as their faces heating up started creeping closer and closer just enough until their lips barely touched feeling each others breath mix with their own just as about they were gonna-
"AHEM!...what are you two doing out here?"
"MASTER SHIFU!" they both said in unison as they both fast as light itself got up next to each other stiff as a rock with flushed faces.
Uh sorry we were just p-playing around after our meditation." Tigress started quickly obviously lying about the meditation; Shifu was unaware.
"playing?" Shift said in a seriousness that made them both nervous.
"we were uhhh...yea hanging out with each other...yea!" Po said while they both still had a red flush all over them.
"how so to end up on the ground?." shift asked
"we tripped and fell," Tigress said as the fur thankfully hid her blush but not so well the pandas.
"hmmm, so you're telling me the two best warrior's in China, out of all my students tripped and fell...on a stick?" Shift asked dumbfounded
"yes master" they both said
"well, I hope you two are ready to walk tight ropes across the valley of Peace until you get your balance exceptionally better." Shifu said with a smirk
"WHAT!?" they both said shocked
The master laughed while the two looked at him confused.
"I'm kidding, I just came to tell you both dinner is soon and Po should get ready to prepare. Tigress shocked on how the day's end was near but disappointed to not have hung out more with the panda.
Master Shifu then took a dumpling out of his hand with two chopsticks holding the dumpling staring at the panda.
"here Panda i made some, enjoy." He said with a certain smirk the panda saw as sketchy. Shifu handed him the chopsticks and stared at the panda again.
Po slowly watched Shifu and he started to slowly open his mouth and- WHIFFFF with the blazing speed he saw the red panda with a dumpling in his mouth and another dumpling in his chopsticks
"HEY WHAT THE HECK," Po said as the Tiger watched much to her amusement.
"YOU. MAY. EAT. PANDA" Shifu said in a serious but mocking way swallowing the first dumpling finally.
"CAN I!? " Po said realizing what this was.
"CAN YOU!?" shift yelled as he took the dumpling and threw it in the air then threw a chopstick right through the middle of the dumpling as it crashes in the Cherry Blossom tree stuck there waiting to get grabbed. The Two looked at each other before a very similar battle happened between them a while ago. Tigress watched as they had their fun and saw how some pots and pans came outta nowhere and then bamboo too both using them to their advantage. The tiger even saw them once use the pans as a place to hide the dumpling amusing her greatly. Tigress watched the show as the two playfully fought hard for the dumpling. Soon enough Po sealed the Victory as he started to chew the dumpling on his way to cook dinner waving tigress goodbye until they met again at the dining table.
As Tigress walked up the steps she heard pitter patter of familiar feet follow. Her father.
"I'm very proud of you daughter." Shifu said
"thank you, baba" Tigeress started back
" I see you two have gotten close " shift said
"yes, we have." Tigress asked
"and why is that?" Tigress asked intrigued to know the answer
" oh nothing it's just that I'm glad you two have," shifu said
" why are you so glad baba? Tigress asked.
"its because I know he makes you happy." Shift said and with that he walked up the Thousand steps leaving a Tiger to dwell in her thoughts as she was coming back up thinking about a certain Black and white panda that is.
Back at the Palace ~ Dinner
As Po finished serving soup to all his friends and Shifu he started to eat his own. Tigress took quick glances of the panda as she ate making sure nobody had caught her. As dinner came to an end everyone was heading towards their Quarters except for Po and Tigress as Po asked her in a game of chess.
Currently po was struggling with few pieces left as Tigress had more.
Po moved his King out of the way to avoid getting taken by the opponents Rook. Tigress simply chuckled to herself for the move po just made sealing the victory for Tigress because of the lack of his sometimes slow thinking to bring his fate to an end. Po realizing his mistake mentally slapped himself and the tiger grinned as she was about to take the victory as she moved her queen and took out Pos King making him sigh in defeat.
"shoot! Good game Tigress" po congratulated
"thank you po.. You too i guess" trying not to sound mean even though she destroyed him in this game of chess.
"thanks" po said chuckling
"today was fun Po, Thank you" Tigress said
"oh no problem!... But uh do you mind if maybe uh i take you somewhere tomorrow? Po nervously asked
"yea of-of course Po" Tigress said smiling at the fact he wanted to be with her.
" Po.. Thank you again" The tiger said as she smiled
"anytime Ti! " Po said sincerely
Tigress slowly Blinked at Po as she smiled and bowed in respect as they went their separate ways to sleep. (btw if y'all didn't know the reason cats blink slowly at you is a sign of love, respect and appreciation)
Sacred Pool of Tears ~ Master Shifu
As the Master was meditating on a peaceful calm and beautiful late night a cherry blossom landed on his shoulder as he opened his eyes. As he saw the blossom he soon noticed the color of black take over causing it to turn into dust. Confused the panda took the dust in his hand and studied it. It was black , fine like grains of sand with the smell of charcoal. The red panda soon blew the black dust and watched it disappear in the night sky as worry entered his heart on what himself, his students and the dragon Warrior face next. Shifu soon went into his quarters and fell asleep like his students waiting for the new day to rise again and hopefully not a bad one to appear soon.
