Uhm well, hello again. This might seem weird, I said in my profile that I wouldn't keep on writing about fiction because it wouldn't help my mental health (for more information, check my profile out), but I wanted to share with you some brighter news: while what I stated wasn't a lie, over time I got a lot better, and thanks to God I don't feel nearly the same as I did about a year ago, so I now feel I can slowly get back to writing without feeling stressed or out of place anymore. That's great for me because I really like writing, and abandoning this activity entirely, is not something I looke forward doing. Well, as long as it doesn't conflict with other stuff I found to be more important than fiction, but as an entertaining activity is something great for me. Ahhh, it's helped me a lot to spend time focusing on my real life that now I feel a lot more at peace with my conscience and even have more confidence than ever, so you won't see me complaining about the quality of the story nearly as much as I used to before, ahahaha.

This little one shot is about one of my favorite side characters: Sarah G Lato. She's special to me, ahahah...and I just wanted to write something about her, anything. Didn't know what, so it came a little random: I just went with the flow, so it's nothing too ambitious, :D

She knew they were both just being compassionate with her. But it was the frightening feeling of being watched from every corner that made her feel out of place, and the loud sounds of bells ringing hour after hour, laughs and school tools hitting the floor beneath, all while she was trying to make as little noise as possible, just as an invisible individual would do, in the attempt of getting unnoticed, that had her experiencing a trembling sensation everytime she wanted to step into the building that was Elmore Junior High.

Of course, it was like that up until meeting those two. Those two who, in spite of just coming natural to them, were more gentle with her than anyone else in her previous school. Snobby and bragging, those 'very handsome' guys at Richwood High were all 'too VIP to hang out with her'. Nevermind that, they were never her style. But spending two years in that school surely made it difficult for her to fit in, considering none of them were as 'geeky' and enthusiastic about anime, TV Shows and comics as she was, and that, sadly, that earned her the status of "weirdo".

What a relief was then to change to another school. What better place than Elmore Junior High to welcome 'fish out of water' individuals like her?

However, upon meeting the aforementioned Gumball and Darwin, Sarah experienced an strange charge of dopamine which triggered most of the actions she was later accused of under the label of "obsessive stalker".

But...how could she resist those urges? They were normal, perfectly regular guys. And yet, they were the best companions she could ever met. Why, they were silly, down-to-earth when needed, polite...but most of all, they were themselves. They didn't care about 'pleasing the audience', they were often laughed at, dismissed as 'unpopular' and 'unattractive' (hard to agree with for her, though), and not-so-smart, not-so-prominent. But to Sarah? They were awesome. Gumball and Darwin both had each other's back no matter what, and cared for each other's identity, unlike most eight graders who only cared about the amount of friends, instead of the quality of them. Sarah admired that. Seldom would she find such truity in her previous school, so, how could she not obsess about them?

Ah, indeed, they weren't nearly as close to approve this from her, but it was her feelings being put over their preferences. Gumball especially resented this from the ice cone girl at first, while Darwin was more tolerant, but eventually grew to accept her as a friend. Truth was Sarah knew from the start they would love her.

Also, it didn't matter they both had their own special someone in their lives already. Penny and Carrie could take them by the hands and enjoy their company in a more, ehm, romantic way, but it didn't mean she would be out of the picture. In spite of perhaps not them agreeing, Sarah would still fantasize about them. Funny sometimes, because it would be most of the time in the shadows...while in public she wouldn't mind that much being a little inopportune and tease them with her crazy daydreams, stories and drawings about all of them together, in an alternate universe where both the orange goldfish and blue cat would fight for her love.

Other times however, while using common sense, but retaining her character, just as she'd learned from them, she would tease the couples, with similar material, but featuring canonity, even in the most unexpected moments.

Why, that was Sarah. Thank Goodness they all had some sense of humour.

"Aw, LaserHeart is such a handsome dude...I'd love to know where the author took the inspiration from, so I know who to get married to in a few years." let out a golden fairy creature, in a mockingly way to a blue cat sitting next to her, after reading the special edition of LaserHeart comic book that Sarah had gotten out for Valentine's Day featuring a brand new character (in an Alternative Universe, of course, she wouldn't kill the continuity of the series): a golden fairy woman that lured LaserHeart with her charms into her lair to absorb his powers, but ended up falling for him as well and admitting he was 'so good looking she couldn't resist him', so she lost her evil motivation halfway through. Gumball grinned widely at that. Deep down he had to admit Sarah was more fun to have around than a pain on the neck. Because in spite of obsessing over him and his brother, she, in her own way, would show respect for his relationship with Penny. And that was something worth of praise.

On the other hand, Darwin had quite a thing for Sarah's fanfictions, while Carrie was a little more reticent to read the stuff Sarah had written about her and her boyfriend, usually cringing just with the idea. That of course, stopped when Sarah suggested her to read instead, about the fanfictions she had written about herself with Darwin. She glared at her, but preferred to let out a sigh of resignation, and accept the first proposal.

"That's nothing close to what I would say!" she would often state at first. But, as always, Sarah getting her way and all, Carrie would learn with time, how to laugh at them with Gumball, Penny and Darwin because of their overly ridiculous scenarios, in the end knowing it was just fanfiction, nothing close to reality, once getting used to the ice cream cone girl's traits and antics.

Such was the way of an enthusiastic friend, labelled as obsessive, yet having perfectly legitimate reasons to be that. At the end of the day, weren't her friends happy? Perhaps they would never understand the way of her mind and heart. But she was content with just them adjusting to her, accepting her as she was, and appreciating her company, in spite of everything. Really, what else could she ask for? If she was given the freedom to love in the shadows, she would use it to all her extent. Because, she was happy that way.

See? Not too prominent, ahaha, but I'm ill and can't do much around here, so I just felt like writing something...and I guess anything remotely decent was okay, ahaha.

Also, I wanted to say something else: I still maintain to this day the determination to avoid writing about romance: I feel I gave the topic too much importance over the years and I'm tired of it. There are another stuff I want to write about, and while I still like the same pairings, I don't feel like writing a story revolving around them at all anymore, or relying only on romantic topics, such as my previous ones...I know some of you really like to read about that stuff, but...I don't feel like getting too immersed in it as of now. My stories tend to be too cheesy that I guess if I ever write something that's related to that topic, I'll try to be as light as possible, because I'm simply tired of romantic stories.

Anyway, if you've read this far, thank you. If you also want to share whatever your thoughts on it are, do it, I appreciate it :)

See you again sometime ^^
