Prompt: Her hiding place had been discovered. What on earth was she going to do now?

Her hiding place had been discovered. What on earth was she going to do now? She had to think fast. Even her own imagination couldn't come up with all of the possible consequences of being caught. Perhaps hiding in a cave behind a bush wasn't the best place she could have chosen to hide.
Luna slowed down her breathing as she watched curiously from her spot, the branches obstructing her view. The 19 year old was almost tempted to jump out with her wand and rescue the poor bandicoot which was currently trapped in a cage. The agitated trumpet sound emitted from the creature had Luna tightening her grip around her wand. How could anybody be that evil? You didn't have to be a Dark Lord or Death Eater to be evil - that Luna knew well.
The blonde girl couldn't keep in her light gasp as she watched with wonder as an unknown male jumped out and attacked the men. His movements were eloquent and precise as he managed to disarm most of them without causing permanent harm. He definitely caught them unaware.
When the men managed to pull themselves together, facing off against the lone hero, Luna slipped out of the small and slightly damp cave. With her wand ready, she helped him. After being blindsided a second time, the men went down, most of them apparating away, two of them running off. Luna had forgotten how exhilarating it was to help others, including creatures.
Luna noted that the unknown male was watching her cautiously, but didn't let it bother her. She bent down and unlocked the cage, letting the Bandicoot out. "You're free now. Where's your home?"
"Australia."
Luna looked up with a smile. "Are you going to take him home?"
The male nodded. "Where he belongs. I named him Bandy."
"Bandy. I like it," Luna stood up and let the creature return to whom she presumed was its temporary owner. "I'm Luna Lovegood."
"Rolf Scamander."
