Frog Prince
"Things will work out, they always seem to."
Yuki sighed at the brunette's words as he had transformed by her touch, the small gray rat stood in her hands as he looked to her with his small beady purple eyes, feeling a bit of guilt as it wasn't her fault his family was cursed and yet she continued to apologize.
"If you say so Miss Honda." The school girl weakly laughed, trying to think of some way to comfort the prince.
"Well think of it this way, it's just like a fairy tale almost, ya know, like The Princess and The Frog."
The rat blinked, not really familiar with the story.
"A...fairy tale?" Tohru nodded as she lifted him in her cupped hand to meet at her smiling face and wide blue eyes.
"Mm Hm! I can just kiss you," She explained and didn't hesitate to lean forward to give a small peck to the mouse as it's face reddened, eyes wide as it didn't expect it.
"Then you'll be a-" Tohru eeped as the boy poofed back into his naked human self, covering her eyes as the purple haired boy just sat before her on the city street. Blinking a bit before softly smiling as he tilted his head, the bits of the light violet hairs falling into his cream colored face as the light brush of pink held his cheeks, his eyes wide with interest.
"Well, What's the rest of the story, Miss Honda?"
The blue eyed teen lowered her hand as she lightly blushed, stuttering as her eyes scattered on something to focus on.
"Y-You'll turn into a prince and the rest is happily ever after." She laughed nervously, remembering when her mother had told her the story when she was younger and feeling a bit dense as it was stupid to tell it to Yuki, she just wanted to make him smile again.
"It seems like a very nice story, Thank you for sharing it with me..." Yuki said politely as his housemate's chin lifted so her gaze was on him, giving his warm prince smile.
"Haha, No problem!" Tohru blushed, still feeling a bit bad she had transformed him, she watched his gaze look up to the dark starry sky.
That's how he was when he came to get her from work, leaning casually in the night as he gazed to the sky, that soft amused look on his face and she had to go and trip into him.
"So what happens when I kiss you?" He asked and the girl blinked out of her thinking as the boy was two inches from her face and their lips met warmly. A frozen reaction was held until both lips were withdrawn. A sigh was given as he had transformed again.
"You are still a princess while it seems I am still a frog...well rat." Tohru giggled as she held Yuki, nuzzling his small figure against her cheek, she didn't mind it, he lightly squeaked as his whiskers twitched a bit.
"You are definitely still a prince in my eyes Yuki, happy ever after or not."
YukiTohru fluff. =D It makes me a bit sad they don't end up together.
