If there is one thing that remains constant about the Fairy Tail guild, it's the noise.

You would never have any problem hearing loud crashes, explosions, and over the top screaming or declarations of war coming from the building. People had learned to grow used to the noise, it was just part of the charm that Magnolia had to offer. And while the mayor would occasionally chew them out when the noise caused collateral, nothing about Fairy Tail's boisterousness changed.

Until the infamous Salamander and his wife decided they wanted to raise a family.

Gray was about ready to Ice Make a soundproof cube around his head to block out the noise of endless, childish bickering. He peeked over and saw that Juvia had beat him to it as she was currently floating around in a large water bubble.

He sighed, if the prodding noise didn't let up he'd probably go join her since, he was allowed to do that now. Well he'd been allowed to for a while now but being engaged seemed to change the way their magics reacted toward each other.

Everyone's only hope was the queen bee, Erza, seeing as she was the only one who's confidence was more terrifying than her magic.

But the second the fighting started she had requipped her space suit and hid behind the bar next to Mira. Of course, Mirajane was unaffected by this new variety of chaos, but to be fair she had just given birth to her third kid and was probably used to this.

Gray almost considered asking Mira to bring out the She-Devil to shut them up but he knew she would say something like, "Isn't it nice to see them going through struggles of pre-parenthood? I think it's really romantic." And then she'd give him a bubbly grin before going back to keeping the whole guild standing.

He peeked over and saw that Gajeel and Levy seemed totally unaffected by the noise, seeing as they were passed out in a booth.

About a year ago they had given birth to twins and had stopped functioning as humans ever since. They insisted they were happy and he believed them, but he never understood why Juvia wanted 33 of those things. Er- babies.

Good news is that them having the twins was the kick in the pants that finally convinced them that maybe, just maybe, they should get married.

He had given it about five more minutes before letting out a groan and walking over to the floating sphere of water. Before he could dive in, Juvia had wrapped her arms around his torso, he let out a yelp and she yanked him in. A thin sheet of ice surrounded the sphere, officially cutting them off from the whining.

The source of the whining was coming from a table in the far-left corner of the guild where several bowls of random dishes had been ordered.

Now by the guild's standards that was perfectly normal since one of the people sitting at that was known for buying out the kitchen's entire stock. Some people are hungrier than others, plus they still payed for everything, granted paying for that much food would render them broke for a few days. But they would be back to pay for more eventually.

What was different about today was the fact that all that food was ordered for two instead of the one.

"Natsu you're being ridiculous I just want a bite!"

"You ate a whole freakin bowl! Eat your own food, stay away from mine!"

"Ugh why can't you be more like Loke? He had no problems feeding me, isn't it considered romantic to feed each other?"

"Pfft how is giving up my precious spicy chicken romantic Luce? You hate spicy food anyway, the second I give it to you you're gonna explode. Remember what happened with the wasabi?"

Lucy crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, wishing she could shove her husband away from the table so she could make a dive for his bowl. But she could barely lean over the table to steal bites. This pissed her off so the only form of happiness she could find was winning an argument against Natsu.

"Fine, maybe I don't like spicy food, but I'm freaking certain your unborn child just loves it." Natsu groaned, when they first found out Lucy was expecting Erza had pulled him aside and said that he should avoid arguing with her at all costs.

And while Natsu new Erza's love life was more complicated and she had never been pregnant before; he also knew that Erza was an expert on being terrifying in every sense of the word. So he just nodded rapidly and doubted they would ever get into a really bad argument.

And now here they were fighting over his food, beloved food. Aside from Lucy, food was probably his favorite thing in the world and he wasn't sure he would be willing to give it up.

Ever since Erza had given him that talk Natsu hadn't initiated any sort of fight with anyone. Everyone thought he had been eating too many mushrooms again. Lucy on the other hand had turned into a female Natsu, picking a fight with anyone who caused her discomfort.

People had learned to fear the Salamander's wife just as much as they fear the Salamander.

Lucy stared at his troubled face and felt herself smile, he was caving and that was not an easy task to accomplish. Ten minutes of arguing and even though the food was probably starting to go cold she didn't care, she was winning. All she needed was a divine move.

"Natsu...why won't you do this for me? Do I look fat?! Is that it, I'm just getting fat? Do you think I need to take off the pounds?" She began to sniffle and rub her eyes. Natsu's eyes widened and he went cold, well, as cold as a fire dragon slayer could get anyway.

"Oh jeez Lucy I-I would never think that." She covered her eyes with her hands and continued the charade. He could feel all the glares he was getting from the rest of the guild and her crying was starting to get more intense by the second.

Natsu sighed as he looked down at his beautiful spicy chicken and rice. Ever since he was a kid he would get eight bowls of this dish alone, it was how he learned about the importance of money.

How he learned that money = food.

His mouth watered, it truly was a work of art.

He then looked up at his beautiful, crying, probably angry wife. If the spicy chicken was the start of his good life, then Lucy was easily the start of his crazy, perfect life.

She was not only one of the first people to believe in him wholeheartedly but was one of the first people that made him consider living a peaceful life. If it meant she'd be safe all the time. But of course Lucy was just as crazy as him and refused to abandon their mile a minute lifestyle.

Lucy was definitely more important than spicy chicken, but that wasn't the point. His overconfidence tends to prevent him from backing down from a challenge. Even when tears are involved.

But on the other hand, she was pregnant and they slept in the same bed and he would probably wake up dead. Which made no sense.

It only took a single peek from Lucy and he saw that her eyes were definitely lacking in tears.

But instead of continuing, he let out a loud groan and pushed the bowl across the table. He could hear everyone in the guild sigh in pure relief as Lucy shot him a huge grin and sat back down.

He sighed, Mira had wasted a lot of her time reminding them that, "It was going to be so worth it!" And while he and Luce had ignored it for the most part. Natsu wouldn't deny that Lucy's happy grin as she shoved chicken and rice down her throat made his heart feel full.

Fuller than the chicken could ever make him at least.
