This is just a little poem I made up during my history class. I've never really posted poetry on here so please be kind. I don't own any of these characters.
A thousand years
For a thousand year I've seen your face
Bathed in golden light; with an ethereal grace.
My return to your arms fills my every thought.
To gaze into your eyes once more will; bring completion to my soul.
I felt your blood run through my hands,
Your last breath a constant tune that never gives me peace.
My first and last though of each and every day is how I saw your smile just fade away.
My eternal curse are your final moments.
And as I watch the grains of sand
Trickle down bit by bit.
I wait in the shadows for that gold and grace
For a thousand years I've seen your face.
