Sunlight Lance

1 week after Victor has been defeated…..When everything is almost back to normal. Kazuki and Tokiko were walking together on the first day of school after the summer holidays.

"Say, Kazuki", started Tokiko. "I don't want you to ever break my heart ever again. Don't ever leave me again. When you were at the moon, fighting against Victor, we all thought you were dead. I thought you were dead. You didn't know how much I struggled to keep myself alive. I had a constant thought of killing myself because the thought of you just made me wanna join you."

Tears were slowly streaming down Tokiko's face. "I will always be with you, was what I promised." said Kazuki while wiping the tears off Tokiko's face. "I will never leave you and you know it. So please don't cry, Tokiko-san. The sight of you crying just makes a manly guy like me sad", winked Kazuki.

"What MANLY!" exclaimed Tokiko. "You think you're manly? Want me to fight you to show you I can beat you?"

"Hah, like you ever could!" boasted Kazuki. "BUSOU RENKIN!" shouted the both of them at the same time.

Kazuki quickly ran away. "You chicken! And you said you were manly. Prove me wrong, Kazuki!" shouted Tokiko while chasing him.

After 20 whole minutes of running and chasing, Kazuki finally stopped and admitted while panting heavily, "Fine, I give up. I'm exhausted. You win."

"Hmph, fine. Go down without a fight. Wait… did you sleep late again last night without me knowing it?" questioned Tokiko. "Umm… n-no…" stammered Kazuki. "Don't lie to me, Kazuki." furthur pressing Kazuki to tell the truth.

"Ok, I admit it. I was training again yesterday night. Sheesh, no lie of mine could ever make you believe what I say." pouted Kazuki.

"Kazuki, how many times have I told you to sleep early and get some rest? Don't be stubborn. Training every night won't make you a skilful warrior." stated Tokiko.

"I'm only doing this for you, Tokiko-san." reasoned Kazuki.

Kazuki slowly walked toward Tokiko while saying, "You know how I feel about you, Tokiko-san. The moment the same exact girl that I died trying to save, had brought me back to life, I was already secretly in love with her without even myself knowing it. And what I've been through with her since that day had left me thinking about her every day."

Kazuki took her hand and said, "That girl is you, Tokiko. I want to protect you and be with you every second of my life. You are precious to me. "

Tokiko, not knowing what to do, just stood there listening to what Kazuki had to say.

"I love you, Tokiko-san." smiled Kazuki.

Kazuki then leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Tokiko was surprised at first but she then later closed her eyes and kissed him back.

"You know I love you too. We had a promise to always be together, always and forever. I will always keep that promise no matter what happens." said Tokiko.

She kissed him and she could feel the heat rushing in her body once again.
