Chapter 1

It was almost sunrise.

Raven slammed the door wide open in the blue zoidian's room after hearing a frantic scream.

He saw the woman coiled on the floor, gasping, one hand holding her head. Upon seeing Raven, she regained her normal self again. Raven knelt down to help her get up. "What's going on with you?" Then he propped her up on the bed.

"I'm sorry. I feel a little sick right now." Reese said softly, letting out a deep exhale and then closed her eyes.

Raven picked up the pillow that fell on the floor and then placed it so Reese could lie down. "Do you need anything? Medicine? Pain killer?"

Just then, Moonbay appeared by the door. "So, her too?"

Raven glanced at the woman. Moonbay was still in her yellow tinted night clothes and was also awoken alarmed. "Y-Yeah..." He muttered.

"What do you mean?" Reese asked in a low tone, looking up at Raven.

"Well, you and Fiona kinda blasted everyone up awake. Did you two had a fight in your dream or what?" said Raven.

Reese couldn't find the right words to explain at the moment.

"Just how'd you get yourself on the floor anyway?" asked Raven.

"Well, maybe she fell off after a series of scary zoidian nightmares. That should make a lot of sense." Moonbay said sarcastically making Raven give a glare at her.

Reese got herself up in a sitting position with a concerned look on her face. "Is Fiona okay?"

Raven stared at the zoidian curiously. She's actually worrying about… Fiona?

Wow, that's new. Reese worrying about Fiona? Never thought that would ever happen. I thought all she only wanted to do was make us all miserable. Moonbay thought, much to her surprise. "Don't worry, she's fine now. Was your "dream" really that...freaky? Scary? Hellish? to make you two...err...?"

"I don't really know how to explain it to be honest." Reese said bluntly. "It's the first time this has ever happened. But, I had no idea that Fiona was having them as well."

"Must be a bummer being Ancient Zoidians and all, huh?" Moonbay said. " I mean, both of you are supposed to have this special connection, right?"

Reese fell silent for a moment. For some reason, there was a hint of sadness on her face. "It's just that, these past few weeks, she never even seemed to look bothered. I thought that she wasn't having any problems at all. She keeps this-" ...stupid... "-cheerful face all the time while I just lose my appetite everytime a fragment of that dream occurs."

"You never told me about these dreams." said Raven. "Why haven't you told anyone about it."

"I didn't want to bother anyone, and I didn't think it would get worse the more I ignore it." Reese replied softly, sounding disdainful.

Raven scoffed. "You fool... you could have at least told me."

"You two have grown awfully close. Not like it's a bad thing." Said Moonbay with a smirk, crossing her arms as she watched the two by the bed.

Raven stood up with an indifferent expression while Rees tried to process in her mind on how she should react. "Don't make up anything funny."

"Sourpuss." Moonbay mumbled as she observed the blue zoidian. She somehow noticed something strange about her. "Say, are you sure you're really okay? You look like you're about to throw up."

Raven shot a glance back at Reese. "Hey, just lie down for a bit. You don't look so good." He placed a palm on her forehead, it felt normal. "You don't seem to have a fever at all."

"You feel like throwing up? I can get a bucket or something for you." Moonbay suggested.

Reese inhaled deeply, and then exhaled to keep herself calm, but it didn't help. "I think I…"

After a minute of silence, Raven finally mouthed the most disturbing idea that he could ever imagine so far. "You're not pregnant, are you?"

Upon hearing this, Reese's eyes shot wide open. Her pale face grew red and her temperature suddenly rocketed either from embarrassment or irate by Raven's words. She leaned her face at Raven to scold him. "JUST WHY WOULD YOU TH-". With a slight whimper, she had a hand over her mouth, moving slightly away.

"Im gonna go get something to catch that." Said Moonbay racing to the bathroom.

Raven rubbed the zoidian's back looking worried. "Hang in there just a bit. Eveything's going to be-'

Before Reese knew it, her stomach abruptly kicked up and suddenly let herself throw up all over Raven's clothes.

Raven froze in total shoke.

Moonbay had a surprised and disgusted expression on her face when she came back holding a plastic bucket. "Uh oh."

Reese began to look teary eyed. Oh no! "Raven, I'm sorry, why didn't you move?!" She intended to wipe of her vomit but the smell just made her feel worse. No no not again! She managed to move herself away from Raven and fell sick again. She was leaning toward the floor. This time, Moonbay already got the bucket on the floor.

Reese stared at Raven's stone-like expression and the mess she have done on his clothes. "I...I..." She stuttered. "I swear I didn't mean for this to happen. And I'm not pregnant, okay?" She said nervously.

Raven blinked. "Okay, you need a doctor, asap. And I need to clean up too."

Reese saw his left eye twitching as he got up. She didn't like it and simply kept quiet. Another word might make him explode, she thought.

Moonbay watched Raven leave the room in a slow pace.

He's still trying to put up a poker face after all that? Reese thought.

"Just what am I going to do now?" Reese muttered to herself with a sigh.

"Try to relax for a while, Reese." Moonbay said, looking concerned. "I'll go get someone to bring you some hot tea. Don't push yourself too much, 'kay?" Then she left.
