Sasuke Stood in-front of Sakura, the girl was practically in tears. "Sasuke Please don't leave." Sakura knew that he chances of the man listening to her where next to zero but she had to try once more. Sasuke was everything, literally everything to her. She could feel a tear roll down her cheek, No response. She wiped away the falling tears but it didn't help. She could hardly see she was crying so hard. "P-please Sasuke, You can't leave." She was done asking now she was begging.
"What is there left for me here? None of you can give me the power that he can." A response, finally. Not one Sakura had hoped for but a response none the less. At least she was getting somewhere. "I am done playing ninja with you and your 'friends' Sakura." Sasuke was dark, empty, cold, She had seen this side of Sasuke a few times. It wasn't like his normal 'leave me alone attitude but more of a threatening and hateful attitude. She hated it the way everything about him changes. He took a step and she found her self running to him, She hugged him and pressed her damp face against his dark blue shirt. He stopped.
"Sasuke, Please you can't leave me all alone here." She could feel her tears soaking through his shirt. She was slightly surprised when he took another step, had he kept walking after that step she wouldn't have been surprised. But she was shocked when his hand touched her face. She could feel his thumb attempting to wipe tears away but it didn't really help much. She found herself clinging to him her face pressed into his chest.
Just when Sakura thought she had made him change his mind his voice shattered her thoughts "Sakura, I can't stay here. I will never get m-" Sakura broke away from him.
"Your revenge? What does it even matter? Kakashi-Sensei is right revenge gets you no where! Are you blind? There are people who care about you all around you, and your chasing after your brother who wants nothing to do with you!" Sakura had hardly finished her speech before she was balling her eyes out again. Sasuke's hand came up and stroked her hair gently. His normal look along with a bit more gentleness came back to his face.
"Stop crying." Sasuke stated plainly. Sakura managed to calm down enough to be able to think clearly knowing he had something to say. When he felt her breathing was calm enough and her crying had stopped he brushed her hair out of her face and for the first time ever he stared at her properly, she was far prettier then the rest of the girls their age. "I'll stay" he hardly whispered the words but she heard him.
Sakura burst into tears again and hugged the raven haired boy again. "H-Hey I'm staying so you don't have to cry." Sasuke had no clue what to do. He just rubbed her back slowly.
"I-I'm so happy!" Sakura soon found herself sitting on a bench leaned against Sasuke she had hardly stopped crying when she yawned "I'm tried Sasuke" he simply nodded and stroked her hair. until she fell asleep.
~the next morning~
Sakura woke up in her bed tucked in and smiled softly knowing sasuke had carried her home and tucked her in after she fell asleep looking at the clock she squeaked. Team 7 was meeting today and she was already 15 minutes late. getting out of bed and rushing to the meeting place all eyes where on her. But Sasuke smiled and Sakura knew she wasn't dreaming, the night before really happened. Sasuke had stayed, she made Sasuke stay. If she was any happier she might have exploded.
